I thought it would be a good idea to move on to the next week and it's time to open up at home against the Saints.

I cannot wait to see what Love does in his first start at home and hopefully the team can come out on fire for the opener.

Also, as a side story for the second time in my lifetime I will be at Lambeau for a game.  I am in my 50's and grew up 20 minutes from Lambeau and I only had tickets in my hand to go twice and couldn't go.  The first time I was home on leave and I had a ticket for the blizzard game against the Bucs but I couldn't get there.  The second time was the first Lambeau leap game but had to give up my tickets because my grandma passed away.

Anyhow, Go Pack Go!

Both those games were legendary, that blizzard game in 1985 was one of the most dominant performances I think I’ve ever seen a Packers team have.  Tampa wanted no part of being out there and it showed.

I actually was at the Lambeau leap game vs the Raiders in 1993, that was the coldest I have ever been in my life.

Hopefully weather will be better for you this time around and the Pack delivers you a win.

did Van Ness get hurt. I saw him leave with an arm issue but don't know if he came back in or if there is a report on it.

Elbow. Questionable to return. Haven’t seen any reports that’s it’s anything serious. Usually, significant injuries are leaked by now to guys like Ian Rapp (see Elgton Jenkins yesterday which Rap reported by late afternoon).

So crossing fingers it’s minor. Thus far, Van Ness has played some really good football

Do we know if it's the same knee he had surgery on?

Dillon. Useless.

David Carr isn't super mobile at QB. Not sure about Saints OL but they haven't looked special to me this season.

I would hope they can put some pressure on Carr this weekend.

It would be nice to put on a good show at Lambeau for the home crowd and give them a win

If Barry sits back in a soft zone coverage and the front four can't get home, Carr will eat them alive. He's light years better than Fields and Ridder.

If Jones & Watson can't play our offense is going to struggle vs. this Saints defense.

They're going to struggle against most teams without their preferred starters on the O-Line

There is Z-E-R-O excuse to NOT pressure Carr. Speed up the clock for him and he will throw INTs

The Saints scored 16 points against a mediocre Titans team (at home) and 20 at  Carolina against a team that had little to no offense.

New Orleans' best offensive player Alvina Kamara is still suspended and Carr is still trying to get in synch with his receivers.

Barring flukey Special Teams or defensive plays, there is no way the Saints should be able to put up >20 in Lambeau on Sunday
