Gonna be hot, gonna be moist! Always a challenge for teams from Da Norf!

The Jags are J A G's
Hafley will have Fabio rattled more than once. Bank on it.
Jaguars coming back from spending two weeks in London. Should be an advantage for the Packers.
Game temp for Sunday game, 80 degrees, but humid. Caught a break with Hurricane Oscar fizzling out eventually and heading out east away from landfall
Packers traditionally struggle in the south outdoors when the temps are north of 75...I am sure the Jags will opt to wear whites and force the Packers to wear the dark green.
The Jags have the worst pass defense in the league, and a middling run defense...which is probably largely in part due to the fact everyone can pass on them at will.
As long as we keep the self-stepping to a minimum, this is a winnable game.
FWIW ESPN Gamecast says Pack has a 64.5% chance of winning.
3 turnovers made the Texans game, and actual game. Packers gave them 16 points. Take those 3 away, it was a laugher.
The Packers released long snapper Matt Orzech in what appears a procedural move. The team is expected to release Ford, re-sign Orzech and, assuming he gets through waivers, sign Ford to the practice squad, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.
Ford will probably get signed by the Jets
Jaguars are 32nd in defensive DVOA.

Hardest (MIN) to easiest (JAX) defenses to earn Adjusted QB EPA against.

This is basically only looking at plays involving QB and normalizing for stuff like drop luck, accounting for QBs faced.
The Bears have already played against 28, 30, and 32 on here and their next 3 gamesโฆ pic.twitter.com/FXvPvs6zvh
Wow.....Bears have had a cakewalk so far. Interesting
When you finish in the bottom of your division, you get an easier schedule. Let's see what Short Bus looks like vs a real defense.
Don't worry.....I hear he's "not nervous"๐
God bless AI and these pearls...
- NFL CombineWilliams opted out of participating in the NFL Combine's throwing and drill work. He was also believed to be the first invitee to decline the medical exams, which are considered a core part of the combine. -- Pussy.
- Draft prospectsWilliams is considered one of the top prospects for the 2024 NFL Draft. Some say he has the talent and tenacity to make the impossible play a reality, but others note that he has some flaws. -- His brain.
- TechniqueWilliams has been criticized for his technique, including throwing off his back foot and across his body. He also sometimes holds the ball for too long, which can lead to fumbling. -- Dum Dum can't process quickly.
- LeadershipSome question Williams' leadership ability, or the perception that he lacks it. -- His teammates hate him.
- HeightWilliams is shorter than some NFL teams prefer. -- Short Bus.
The only Williams I give a fuck about is Evan. That dude could be special.

I see an X-Rated INT or 2 this weekend. @mckinney15__ It is time! pic.twitter.com/Z5MvDHe0TD

It's always X time.

Thatโs Robert Saleh in the back watching the Packers offense at practice today.

Matt LaFleur was the best man in Salehโs wedding. Weโll hear from LaFleur later about what Saleh is helping with. He spent the entire open portion of practice on the offensive side of the field. pic.twitter.com/LwbhKs9PT1
@RobDemovsky: Devonte Wyatt, who has been out since Week 4 with an ankle injury, has returned to practice.
DNPs: Quay Walker, Corey Ballentine, Josh Myers, Elgton Jenkins.
LS Matt Orzech is back.
Recently fired Jets coach Robert Saleh is at Packers practice. Long history between him and Matt LaFleur. Also has worked with Jeff Hafley.
Weโll hear from LaFleur after practice if heโs hired Saleh in some capacity.
Really interesting Saleh is in Green Bay. A consultant role? He could certainly help the Packers D.

Are you still bent out of shape about my mentioning Saleh during speculations about Hafley's future?

How much money does he still have coming from the Jets and what are his options to consult and still collect?
My God.....did we all call that or what??
I canโt imagine his contract with the Jets would make the Jets continue to pay him if they fire him AND he takes another NFL job. I donโt know how all of that works though.
Unless he's terminated for cause (like Domestic violence or something bad) he gets his full deal.
Yes he is still getting paid by the Jets
When in Green Bay last weekend, heard about Robert Saleh coming to help, be around, advise with Packers.

Iโm not a breaking news guy, didnโt want to say it until it was โout there.โ
Now seems to be.
The Packers have announced the re-signing of Orzech. They released DL Jonathan Ford, who had just been activated off IR. Expect Ford back on the practice squad.

Too bad Saleh isn't a ST coach...Bistecca could use some help...

Thanks for the breaking news sir! We appreciate it! pic.twitter.com/O92odgK44m

Itโs pretty impressive that this was kept under wraps. Some things at 1265 donโt change. The all-time move for me being the Julius Pepper signing, all totally off the radar until Peppers posted a selfie of himself on the field at Lambeau on an off-season Saturday morning.
So per MLF, Saleh will be helping on the OFFENSIVE side of the football. Very interesting.
