I remember. ๐Ÿ˜

That's ok. I am and I can assure you I would do at LEAST as good as Murphy has done. Maybe Murphy is a low bar.... but I'd strive to match Bob Harlan if I had the job.

Youโ€™ve mentioned that a few times so I can only assume you really believe that and certainly want others to know about it. Care to share what qualifications you feel you possess for a Packer front office gig?

We know itโ€™s just because he isnโ€™t a wide receiver

A lot of peeps on here going to be red faced when this kid gets going. Hell, I haven't always supported him.

Damn I wanted that dude in GB. Thereโ€™s a reason Iโ€™m not the GMโ€ฆ or remotely close to being qualified to be the president.

To be fair, the Packers wouldnโ€™t have stuck him head up at LDE getting the shit pounded out of him by OTs 85# heavier every play.  Nick Perry probably could have held up a lot better there, but da Bears are da Bears.

Lots of people believe Trump is a good person. Doesn't make them right but it's powerful because they believe it & simply because I believe in myself doesn't make me right either.

What qualifications does Murphy have? He was a safety for the Redskins?? You don't have to play the game to KNOW the game.

I can assure you that if I did get the gig, You'd see a lot less posts from me. Like none. ๐Ÿ˜

Silverstein: Drafting Jordan Love 3 years ago was a calculated risk that was the right thing to do (paywall)

In Love, Gutekunst may or may not have a 10-year starter. He may or may not have a guy who can win a Super Bowl. He may or may not have a guy worthy of a $50 million-a-year contract extension.

But Love made considerable improvement under the watchful eye of veteran quarterbacks coach Tom Clements last year and now itโ€™s time to find out whether heโ€™s got the goods. After three years learning behind Rodgers, thereโ€™s not much else he can do to be ready.

No one knows for sure how Loveโ€™s career will play out, but the move Gutekunst made three years ago left him with someone with the right combination of height, weight, athletic ability and arm strength to be special.

And in hindsight, it was the right thing to do.
