Jordan Rodgers does have talent to work with. He's a very athletic QB, more athletic than Aaron. He has a strong arm and is capable of making all the throws. I don't think there was much development as a drop back passer because of Vanderbilt's Spread Offense, so I don't think we've really seen what Jordan can do with proper coaching. Physically he reminds me of Brady Quinn, but his effort and attitude seem to mirror his brother.

At the currecnt rate that would be approx 300 more sacks.....I would think TT should look for a qualified back-up. Not sure if they have one now. And I am not saying he needs to draft one just to draft one.

Since 1980, 29 of 42 (69%) All-Pro RB's drafted in 1st or 2nd rd. 11 of 12 multiple season All-Pro RB's 1st or 2nd rd.

Since 1980, 15 of 20 10,000+ yd RB's drafted 1st rd. 19 of 20 10,000+ RB's 1st/2nd rd. 26 of 33 (79%) 8000+ RB's 1st/2nd Rd.

ILB Bart Scott (Jets) and TE David Thomas (Saints) have both been released and are UFAs. Any interest in either? Scott is a loudmouth and is old, but can't possibly be worse than Hawk and is much cheaper. David Thomas is a pretty decent #2 TE, not a superstar, but he's better than Crabtree, Taylor, and DJW. Quarless is still a question mark although in theory he should be 100% for camps. Not advocating signing either (I know how much IC hates that), just throwing some names out there.
Physically I think Walden is capable of doing just fine. It's upstairs that is his problem. Unlike a lot of players though he's not physically talented enough to overcome mental lapses and technique deficiencies. He's good, but not that good. I think if he gets his crap together and puts in the time/effort to improve his game then he could be just fine. And much like Dezman Moses, I think Walden is better suited as as a situational player and not as a starter. To me he's similar to Evan Dietrich-Smith...he's good and he can hold his own in spot-duty, but he's not a guy I want starting 16+ games.

Having Walden as the starter won't be an issue really once Perry comes back. Hopefully Perry is seizing the opportunity in the offseason to drop some weight and improve as an OLB.

THey should supplement this stat with how many 1st round RBs were busts. It's a ver boom or bust position, that's for sure. it is certainly understandable that teams are avoiding the position early.

Let it go or take it to PM.
