saw, but I agree.

It was less than 4 inches. You run the QB sneak and get yourself a new set of downs. Try and get a TD or at least move closer for a more makeable FG.

You don't try a low percentage FG and spot the other team an additional 7 yards when you miss it.
Give Crosby another week. I have a feeling they let him swing away today after he cranked that kickoff out of bounds, and it helped him from then on. Remember, they changed his stride a bit to try to drop kickoffs at the goal line and let our good coverage pin the other team inside the 20. At least in the second half today they let Crosby crank it to the back of the EZ, and I think it might help him discover his stroke. He sure looked happy to be able to kick away, and he sure looked more comfortable on the one kick he did make. Let's see if they leave him alone now and what happens next.
Anyone know Crosby's salary? He had a slump this year but not sure you give up on him yet unless he's making big bucks for a kicker. Thought I read that they changed his steps before kicking or something like that but maybe others know more about this. If true, maybe like changing your golf swing and it takes you awhile to gain confidence in the new style.
