The D wasnt as terrible as most say. let them score 20 points. Ok,ok, they were not dominant but not bad. We have been used to have a healthy qb week in week out for 20+ years and having to see the backups try make me think how lucjy we have been.
with AR12 at the helm we win this easily.

correct - 10 games into the season he has missed half the games and had 3 sacks coming in.
even geriatric John Abraham came back after injury and recently had a 3-sack game.
i doubt even tt would have given mathews that extension today.

McCarthy knew the rookie's limitations. He called a good game. That pick by Pierre-Paul was just insane
The JPP quote was interesting because if you watch the replay, he doesn't rush the passer, he doesn't drop in pass coverage, he just takes a step sideways into the passing lane and catches the ball.
On the radio broadcast Larry McCarren was wondering what JPP was supposed to be doing on that play because he didn't even try to pass rush.

The D played better in the second half, gave up 1 TD, got to Manning. Better.
But OL is a mess. Get Newhouse off the field. Now.
Get Quarless down the field some- he looked good, and he blocks.
Put House on STs and leave him there.
