Less Negative:  Samari Tourre. Other than the freak fumble play, looked good today.

Jaire’s INT was about the only highlight today.

More Negative:  The more AJ Dillon has to play, the more ordinary he looks.

I think we are watching the last snaps that David Bahktiari will ever take again.

Christian Watson’s concussion issues have a legitimate chance to end his very short and injury prone career.  His pure athletic tools are evident, but once you start getting a string of concussions, it overrides everything else.

Aaron Rodgers is a mental mess and his supporting cast is too weak to overcome it.

This team is physically and emotionally beaten and there’s no bye for a month.

The team is just devoid of healthy offensive talent outside of Jones and Rodgers.

Lazard had two huge drops and a costly penalty in the 4th when they had a chance to still win it. And Fredokunst went with him as a #1.

positives:

1 - went hiking today and didn’t watch the game

2 - no more false hope for the season; time to hit the re-set button

I’ll still watch, but it is definitely weird watching them when there really truly is no hope for this year and probably not next year either.  Their combo of a bad cap situation combined with a bunch of aging underperforming injured veterans has quickly turned the Packers situation into one of the worst in the league.

Last year were 13-4, back-to-back MVP, getting back Jenkins, Bahk, Tonyan and Jaire off injury.  Start 3-6 and lose to the Lions.  This is an implosion of epic proportions.

No doubt it’s an epic implosion and yet I will be shocked if there are any changes involving Murphy or Gute.

So much is wrong there really isn't a point of listing them for me.

For most of the season, this team has been unprepared, lacked motivation and made more than its fair share of stupid plays/penalties.  That points directly at the coaching staff for me.

If A. Rodgers was as talented as people think he is, the game would have been a cakewalk

12 played like trash today and most of the season compared to the level he normally plays at.  That said, anybody that looks at the team and focuses on 12 as "the" problem is taking a very simplistic view of the situation.

it may be time for 10 - he sux even more, but we have to know if the system is busted so we get rid of all the coaches, or if its AR playing hero ball.   not running in this game with 32 is a crime.

Hill has 10 rushes for 24 yards in his entire career... and it's a crime to not play him?

+ the game was not televised here today.

- watching the lowlights was painful.

- Did someone steal our Enigma machine to decode our plays? Nothing is working. I suspect cheating. Or perhaps extraterrestrials who are Vikings fans tampering with us.

- Seems like the wheels are coming off and it will be interesting to see who points the finger at others but not themselves to sling the blame.

- Fans with short memories. Where did all our x4 people go? Man, some of you never would have made it from Super Bowl II to 1996’s championship team. That was 29 years of hard luck, but some of us never wavered.

- Seriously some of you want to dump MLF already? After 3 consecutive 13-win seasons in his first 3 years? The big question is how much of this is execution, how much is personnel, and how much is scheme. On the other hand, if MLF is really an offensive genius, he needs to be able and pivot if his schemes have become overly familiar.

- Lacking the information necessary to know who is to blame for this mess, I nominate Amari Rodgers to be our honorary virgin to be sacrificed to the god of Packer fans. Throw him into the volcano! Let’s see if that helps!

Yes.  Yea it is.  When nothing is working you use that to slow shit down and he had some juice on the one run he had.

The line run blocks like it pass blocks: shitily. They averaged about 3 yards/carry today against a bad run defense and Kylin Hill is not better than Aaron Jones.

Couple of things...

The more I see of AJ Dillon the more I think he's just a guy.  Big dude, decent hands... nothing special.

What is with the Packers medical team?  Jones has an ankle "injury", then runs to the locker room and back to the sideline without a hint of a limp.  Then he stands there as a spectator.  Jesus fuck.

Offense points per game:

2020: 31.8

2021: 26.5

2022: 17.1

Defense points allowed per game:

2020: 23.1

2021: 21.8

2022: 20.9

We have almost half as many points per game as we did 2 years ago.  Defense has gotten better every year.  This is a total offensive meltdown.

Time to think longer term:
- MM is retiring
- Our salary cap is a dumpster
- Gutey’s marginal as a GM
- MLF has lost control

Note that I haven't even mentioned our head-case QB!

Rooted for them at 3-13 and I still love this team! But, lets be real, its not our season this year.

Positives

Went shopping as locals were glued to watching the game.  Best experience ever.

Finished up leaves and grass in yard by mid afternoon.

Detailed car prior to the silly season (winter) in this god forsaken state.

All accomplished between noon and 3 instead of watching the weekly shit show (Packers).

The only negative is why people thought this team would turn things around against Detroit.  The Packers haven’t played inspired one game this year.  Detroit is Detroit but they compete and play hard.  A loss against them shouldn’t be a surprise.

-offense.  devoid of playmakers and a real leader (#12's time to lead was in the off-season when he knew he'd need to get on the same page as some of these young guys but didn't).

-defense.  a lot of draft capital on that side of the ball and not much to show for it.  Who is the leader of this defense?

-coaching.  Joe Barry...not much to say that hasn't already been said about that stain.  Peppie LaFleur is too slow to make meaningful adjustments in game or in season and is still prone to a lot of head scratching coaching decisions.  His clock management hasn't improved much in 3 seasons either.

-front office.  seems the philosophy is hoard picks, throw a bunch of shit against the wall and see what sticks.  I'm not against that philosophy, but would like to see Gute have a little more shit stick.  Have also obviously over-paid for aging veterans.

+my place on the season ticket waiting list should start accelerating

Cmon. Quit hating on Dillon.  He’s Earl Campbell and Jim Brown for cripes sake.  But bigger quads!

No different than Christian Watson is Randy Moss.  For real.

No fan base gets geeked up more and overrates their players more than the Packers.

Yet some of us get shit for bringing up T J W instead of the immortal Kevin King and WI Rapids legend Vince Biegel.

BTW- I can’t agree Jim Bob.  Gute doesn’t hoard picks.  TT and Wolf did.  Gute trades extra picks for studs like Jordan Love and Oren Burks and Amari Rodgers and Christian Watson.  I wish he hoarded more picks.
