Yep. Although one of them was a divisional game. But both games they had no business losing.
BK is, as always, jealous of that hair.
Majik was in the late 80’s. Super 70’s sports is drunk.
@MichiganPacker posted:It's tied to the fact that they don't have a deep threat. So they either run into 8 man boxes or they throw. The offense is designed to throw in those situations, but their WRs and TEs would have trouble beating press coverage in the SEC. When they tried running the ball on the goal line, they lost yardage because they are playing some guys that need some weight room work on the OL.
They were able to run the ball against the Bills because they played nickel most of the game once they got a big lead.
The RBs had 20 carries for 59 yards today. And when they threw, they did get big plays. They just go to guys that don't have the extra gear to get to the end zone and they struggle in the red zone because they lack individual talent on offense (outside of Jones and Rodgers).
This.
The line being terrible affects both the run and the pass. If they run more they lose faster, if that's the goal.
@MichiganPacker posted:Rodgers was terrible today, but other than the one throw to Toure where he could have put another 2-3 yards on it, there is almost no separation from his WRs or TEs.
Really think you're understating how badly the $50 million dollar man shit the bed on Sunday. Numerous opportunities were there with receivers running free and AR didn't pull the trigger for whatever reason. Everyone agrees that the talent at receiver is deficient, but the QB is really failing to make the most out what the team does have.
Pretty good film review of just how badly AR struggled against the Lions. I share Herman's opinion that the team very likely may have won the game with Love at QB.
i struggle to understand just how 'bad' the wr's are. i will give you watkins, but everytime i watch replays of shitty throws, there is a guy with at least 2 steps on the coverage, that's open in the NFL. i no longer believe the wr's are the problem here, it just cannot be a systematic failure of all of them...they are not 17, 87 (jordy), 89 (jj) and 88 (jermichael)...but come on with the excuse-o-matic
One good looking kid, and one good looking guy.
The kid wins that, all day long.

That right there makes one unqualified to make personnel decisions, whoever in the silo did that.

There's a reason Lazard was a UDFA and and a street free agent.
There's a reason Sammy Watkins was available cheap with no competition.
There's a reason Randall Cobb was so cheap.
Other personnel guys recognize them for what they are(n't).
The fact you believe there is separation isn't reality. That's not saying Rodgers is playing great or didn't have probably his worst game ever Sunday, but these receivers are garbage.

Rodgers' terrible game is what the standard has been for Love's appearances.

The weird thing is, you couldn't plan a better roster for tanking and trying not to look like it. Unless communication is really that bad, Fredokunst had to know Bak and Jenkins were still having major issues that would run well into the season and he also should have known these receivers would be this bad.
Put down that roll of tinfoil before you hurt someone.
Reynolds Wrap is oven tempered. For flexible strength.
( How many here are old enough to remember those commercials?).
Man, it was tough to listen to that Andy Herman You Tube video, but he seems to be fair and balanced and speak the truth. I’ve listened to some of his previous clips, but man, the evidence is damning.
In summary, what I took away from his observations:
1) talent level isn’t as good as we think it is
2) Rodgers isn’t playing well including “going rogue” on plays
3) Certain other players, ie Kenny Clark, aren’t playing up to their ability
Not that any of this is a surprise, but it underlines the concern that it’s highly unlikely this team turns things around the rest of the way. It’s not just one issue or problem. It’s a shit ton of them, and that’s not including the injuries.
