AJ Hawk or Vernon Davis, who should we have picked?
It's easy to forget Vernon Davis was quite the turd early in his career. Remember the ass chewing he got by Singletary and was benched? He had major growing up to do.
....and again.
ATL is containing the TE about as good as GB does.
Gee look. Falcons can't keep a big lead. Again.
Game on
Easy as pie - game f'n on!
Falcons need to respond now. 17 point lead dwindling in a matter of minutes

Was he the turd or was it the coach they kicked out of town?

He's still a douche, but can you imagine Arod throwing to that guy?
I think the Falcons need to score here.
CK beating ATL with his arm.

Apparently making adjustments on O, too.

Now ? Yes.
Then? Not so much. And remember we had a guy named Finley in 2009-2010 who was even better then him at the time.

Yes! And they kept him while he grew up, which is what I say the Pack does with Finley, who is 25 years old.
TE is a position that ages well.

I could get used to it.

Davis has toned the douchery way down.

+1 ATL moving the ball again

Finley ain't going anywhere, nor should he.
Me and Julio down by the endzone.
Honestly it doesn't matter, he admitted later he was ecstatic GB didn't draft him, it's why despite his talent and supposed maturation, I can't now nor will I ever be able to stand him.

I believe that's "douche baggery".
Falcons OL is really doing a good job in pass protection. Niners DB's have to jam White/Jones at the LOS. They have no chance at covering them when they are just letting them run free

Agree. Let's hope he comes into 2013 healthy and with that same drive he had towards the end of the season. As MM pointed out, he was a different player after the bye
Can't. Stop. Them.
Nice!
Ryan has over 270 yards and 3 TDs already.
Ill give credit to Matty Ice. He just swung the momentum right back to the birds. That was a terrific drive.
BTW, I'll take our secondary over either of these teams.

Wow!
Crammed it down their throats.
THAT was a championship drive!

We got us a ballgame boys & girls. 24-14
Now you know why this is my favorite football day of the year

Can someone explain to me why no one "Wayne Simmons'es" TE's at the line of scrimmage anymore? These TEs run free from the snap!

He really was playing well the 2nd half of the season...not the dominant player he used to be, but very well, all the same. I agree, he's going nowhere.
If there's one player left in the NFL today that deserves some post season success, it's Tony Gonzalez. Great player. Great dude.

I don't think I would. Not yet anyway.
Tony Gonzalez, definition of Hall of Fame player
Think TT wished he would have pushed harder to get Gonz? Didn't we come close to trading for him?
Agree!

Ok, if Atl wins, how many headlines of "The Iceman cometh!" Will there be?
After a rocky start, it looks like a game!
