Just a "drive by" diagnosis.... based on 36 years working with children,  teens, and adults with that diagnosis and my observations of similarities to BB.

Expertise matters.

On a semi-related note, is Rodgers on the spectrum, also? I had a graduate student who came off as very arrogant, but it was mainly because he had some tendencies towards Aspergers and would just miss some social cues?

No one needs to defend BB.  Just like no one needs to defend idiot owners like Snyder, Haslem, Ross, the Mara’s the McCasky’s, the McNair’s, the Ford’s, etc etc.

Some of the biggest scumbags of any business reside as NFL owners.  Preferential treatment in hires and fires?  You don’t say?

Don’t worry about oversight either.  Goodell is a pimp for the owners and the NFLPU is just as stupid and greedy.

Protect the Shield indeed

I have a friend who is just a hot mess.  No other way to say it.  She's definitely on the spectrum and the way she describes interactions is having to put on her human suit.  She had to study how to react in situations so lots of misunderstandings all the time.

BTW I’m not trying to downplay those that struggle with mental illnesses.  I just don’t think it applies to BB or 12.

Those I’ve encountered (including family members) that have legit conditions don’t act or sound anything like those two guys.  It’s difficult if not near impossible for some to function in society, period.

Sure wouldn’t be holding weekly fireside chats with Pat McAfee.

I don't consider Asperger's to be a mental illness .... yes it is a disorder originating in the brain, but isn't really an emotional disorder.

Yes, I’m aware of autism and Aspberger’s as my brother was diagnosed with the latter.

He’s married and has been able to hold down a steady job and provide for his family but is very quirky.  He’s arguably the most intelligent I’ve ever met but he can come across as abrupt and aloof and his social skills aren’t advanced.

Dude is a walking and talking encyclopedia and has an IQ around 160.  But he needs routine and structure otherwise he’s a bit of a mess.

I can most assuredly tell you your campaign to "defend the rule of law" is bullshit.  Because as we know initial speculation on a BB rings the loudest in the halls of justice.  Christ.

Have the texts been disputed by Belichek?  Elway was quicker to try and refute being hung over.

Save your disingenuous indignity over a premise you'd flip on in a second if it didn't support your position.

Tiresome.  You argue the same way every time you smurf here.

LOL, are you really arguing with him?πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚WHY?

People with autism or Aspberger’s avoid the spotlight.  They don’t want or can’t handle the attention.  Is that Rodgers?  Hell no.

He’s a passive aggressive, uber sensitive and ultra competitive know it all arrogant a hole.

Just like BB is a crusty old stubborn control freak know it all arrogant a hole.

Man, I wasn't even aware that Donatell was in Denver!
There are probably guys even worse coaching, but I can understand the angst.

Was also surprised to see Joe Whitt, Jr. being mentioned. I thought he was solid, if not downright good during his run in Green Bay, but since then, he's changing teams every year it seems.
I guess if he has a shot at becoming a DC, he must be doing well.

Likewise surprised to hear Pettine being considered in Minnesota. Not that I think he's necessarily a bad coach, but I didn't think he was a hot commodity.
No reason to be fearful of his defenses, however, if he does go there.

Good to see the league at least acknowledge the problem.

Will this be the same type of independent investigation they did into the Redskins (sorry, Commanders) workplace culture? You know, the one where the findings were buried by a legal agreement that resulted in Daniel Snyder's punishment being having to "voluntarily" step away for a few months so "his wife could control the team."

You know, the one that the only real punishment that happened was to a coach on another team that was never even part of the Commanders organization for 10 year old emails that happened when he was working on Monday Night Football. The "investigation" where the only 5 emails out of 650,000 that leaked where ones that allowed another owner to get out of a massive contract to a head coach the league and the team didn't want around anymore ?

I won't hold my breath on anything meaningful happening on this without being forced into a legal disclosure process.
