I hate it when I drop a pill and it rolls under a table.
Oh I'm sorry, this isn't the whine about stupid schit thread?!
Schedule to be released tomorrow night at 7 central. Likely starting to leak online by 4 is my guess.
They're trying to "tease" the Super Bowl re-match. It's possible they play week 1 but they also play each other in the pre-season in Denver too.
I still say it's either Packers or Niners to open the season vs. Seahawks.
Super Bowl re-match won't draw nearly the ratings that Packers or Niners would
Or Eagles, because as everyone knows they are a huge draw for ratings.
Well, BSPN says that any East Coast team will get good ratings because that's all they play on their network....so it must be true.
Scuttlebutt on the intertubes has Bears and Packers as the night game on Thanksgiving. I believe that takes GB out of the running for the SEA opener, and I can't see the league making the Pack play on back to back Thanksgivings, so take it for what its worth.
seems like the Turkey night game always featured AFC teams since the Lions and Cowboys play earlier in the day.
I guess we'll know in a few hours

I've been waiting for them to do a Packers-Bears Thanksgiving game at Lambeau for years. It's an obvious choice. Has to happen eventually.
That would have the Pack hosting the prime time game for four years in a row, though. I've got to think the prime time game will be in Chicago this year, whether that's on Thanksgiving or not.
Speaking of trends, GB is due to host the later matchup between the two after Chicago got the late game two years in a row.
Did you tell him all of that without taking a breath?
Fail Mary II: Another example of what really matters to the league.
In addition to flex scheduling for Weeks 5-10, another NFL scheduling change for 2014: select games can be "cross flexed" between CBS/Fox.

no kidding. nothing like building a story line based on the incompetence of the NFL to negotiate and the incompetence of scab hires. wow, I'm thrilled.

Nothing wrong with enjoying a little cross flexing once in a while

I think we're going to open the season in Seattle.
That's possible. Looks like it won't be v CHI.

I can stomach this NFL video a little more
A NO Saints guys said he saw GB /NO a sunday night game
Giants open season at Detroit Sept. 8 on Monday Night Football, according WFAN 660 NY
thank you for these breathtaking headlines...truly breathtaking
the New York Giants, who will have five games on national television this year.
Here are the leaked games, via Paul Schwartz of the New York Post:
- Sept. 8 at Detroit
- Sept 25 at Washington
- Oct. 12 vs. Philadelphia
- Nov. 3 vs. Colts
- Nov. 23 vs Cowboys
A GB/NO sunday night game makes sense, also a GB/NEP sat night game makes sense.
I would like the bye week to be when I'm deer hunting in MN...
Wk 3 @ DET, DET @ GB Wk 17
Home schedule, per Chris Havel:
9/14 NYJ
10/2 MIN
10/19 CAR
11/2 Bye
11/9 CHI
11/16 PHI
11/30 NE
12/8 ATL
12/28 DET
So a Thursday nighter against the vikings.
adbrandt RT @TomSilverstein: Just been told that the #Packers will open the season at #Seahawks in the kickoff opener. 4/23/14, 4:27 PM |
boris, called it.
Then the Havel schedule doesn't add up. Wouldn't have 2 Thursday nights
