Probably a good thing that Michael brought that kickoff out.

Though Michael erred by failing to make a clean catch, special teams coordinator Ron Zook said he is not worried about ball security issues with Michael, who also muffed another kickoff earlier this year.

In fact, Zook praised Michael for alertly bringing the ball out of the end zone after the bobble.

“If he goes back in the end zone and he gets tackled, it’s a safety,” Zook said. “So obviously you don’t want to be in the situation — first catch the ball, that’s No. 1.

“But he wasn’t sure. … People were saying that he should have stayed in, he should have stayed in. And as you watch it on tape, I think he did the right thing. … When in doubt, it’s probably smart to come out, to take it out.”

WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW EITHER ONE OF THOSE MASON CROSBY FIELD GOALS MADE IT OVER THE CROSSBAR OR INSIDE THE UPRIGHT???????? - Skip Bayless (via Twitter)

Yeah I will. Someone held a gun to his head and said "Make this kick or you have to watch 'Undisputed' on FS1." - Tom Crabtree

Crazy as it might sound, If Odell hadn't gone to Miami, Atlanta would be playing Sunday at JerryWorld and Dallas would be going to Houston. - Skip Bayless via Twitter

Crab isn't wrong. No one is watching Skip on FS1. So Skip has turned up the burner on his takes trying to get things turned around.

Guess I need to call in Gerry Austin for a ruling on Sister's return gaffe:
Would it have mattered if he was touching the goal line? Or is the ball staying in/going out of end zone the only factor to determine if he had to bring it out.
My thinking was if his toe was touching the goal line, a return would've been required to avoid the safety. And since it looked to me like it was, I thought it forced his hand.

Yep. Then Skip indirectly floated the rumor that Troy Aikman might be gay (indirect because the rumor started from Barry Switzer) and his hot take career was launched. And he's never looked back.

Crabtree is the only non x4 person I'm aware of who's consistently almost as funny as Ted Thompson.

It's also why there is no bigger Rodgers/Packers fan this weekend than Skippy. He needs the Packers to win.  He is praying he gets to spend the next two weeks running down/ negatively comparing  Rodgers to either Brady or Rapelisberger for the reactions he will get.  Say what you want, there is not a one of us that wants the Packers to win more than he does.  He's got millions rididng on it.

As I watch the highlights of the game again, I don't think Gunter had as bad a game as I first thought. Prescott' ball placement on those big catches was exceptional, especially on Bryant's early TD catch. Gunter's coverage was good and he was there, but Dak put it just out of reach. The PI call on Gunter against Bryant was bogus also, he got his head around and the ball was uncatchable. There were worse examples of PI in the game that didn't get called. Hawkins also was victimized for a big catch by Terrance Williams, but really he was in good position, the ball was just placed really well. Hyde also had a strong day in coverage IMO.

Randall on the other hand had a rough day against Beasley. Beasley is a really good Slot guy, but he was way too much for Randall. He looked unsure of himself and was constantly a step behind.
