Atlanta is playing at home and Ryan is playing well, but they are a bit of a paper tiger. They got to play the NFC West this year and played in a weak division.
The pundits are saying they are on a hot streak, but before beating Seattle, the 5-1 ending to the regular season was based on wins against Arizona, LA Rams, San Francisco, Carolina, and the Saints. There loss was to the Chiefs. They did their equivalent of "running the table" against 2 of the worst teams in football and 3 under .500 teams playing out the string.
They beat the Packers by 1 at home when the Packers RBs who got carries were Ripkowski, Knile Davis, and Don Jackson. The Packers inactives were Cobb, Montgomery, Clay Matthews, Jared Cook, Randall, Rollins, and Starks. If the Packers played them even then, what should we expect this time.
Ironically, in the end we were much better off losing to them in October. If we'd beat them, this game would have likely been in Lambeau Field. The Packers are a much better good weather team right now.
