It seems like the Packers looked at the TB loss and said, okay we need a better plan at OT if we have an injury, so they added the guy from the Titans and are working Jenkins there; the middle of the field was open but we didn't have a slot guy so they drafted one (and now get Cobb) .... but on defense it seems like they said "we need a DC to motivate the guys we have to play better". I know they got an ILBer, but I didn't see that position as a major problem vs. TB, and drafted Stokes but is really going to immediately improve King / or slot DB position?

Crossing my fingers that Keke continues to ascend (and stays healthy)  and Slayton is a beast. Lancaster and Lowry are undrafted FA level talent at best and I really expected them both to be released this off season. Hoping we can sign a FA as well.....

Our QB doesn’t even recognize them until they sign their second deal.

Release them for what? We had no cap room. Maybe, now that 12 is done pouting and has given us some cap room we can approach a guy like Geno Atkins?

Goalline, I couldn't agree more.  DL the weakest unit by far on the team, has been for years.  There's got to be a quality vet (Geno Atkins, Jurrell Casey, other) that can be a decent starter and an upgrade from Lowry/Lancaster.  I like Keke's and Slaton's potential, but I think we really need another Dennis Kelly-like signing here.
