People don't want to spend time in Green Bay in the offseason? The hell, you say...

Why not? They would be demigods when seen around GB.
That sounds awful! I'd rather be left alone.
Tallest midget.
Interesting read. Said if we don't mess up the Rodgers situation, we'll have 12 wins with that brutal schedule.
You have a mouse in your pocket?
14-3
With all the uproar over players skipping voluntary OTAs, interesting how the packers have approached it: Yes it's Florio but this is the only place I've read this. First, the Packers have always put workout bonuses in their contracts to push players to remain in Green Bay (or at least travel back multiple times during the offseason). But kudos to the front office for getting in front of this and allowing some of these voluntary OTAs to be satisfied virtually.
The only potential problem I see is if a player hurts himself during their workout regimens, and claims later it happened during OTA activities.
If they are examined by team doctors and cleared prior to OTAs, that would take care of that, but I don't know if that happens or not.

Found on the internet: Brett Favre became the Packers starter in 1992 so if Aaron Rodgers finishes his season in 2021, they will have a THIRTY year stability with only 2 quarterbacks at that position! That’s the envy of the league, not just for the Bears! The only comparable stability was in the 49ers from Joe Montana(1980-1990) to Steve Young(1991-1999) in the span of 20 years. And of course, there was that one guy in Foxboro who lasted 20 years in this century.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have had only 3 head coaches since 1969.
That is just insane. And all 3 of them have won the big one.
I've only had 2 wives since 1985.
Do I get some sort of award?

NFL fans love watching Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers play on the gridiron and it turns out "Jeopardy!" fans love tuning in to watch No. 12 as well. Rodgers was a guest host of the show in April as they go through rotating hosts following the death of Alex Trebek. The ratings for Rodgers' week at the podium are in.
Ratings spiked 14% from the week before Rodgers hosted, according to TVNewsCheck. The show also had the No. 1 finish on the syndication chart for the period ending April 11, with a 5.6 live-plus-same-day national Nielsen rating. That put the show ahead of "Family Feud" and "Wheel of Fortune."
Family Feud....appropo
Family Feud:
Back in the days when they didn't have to try to induce people into answering "penis".
However, Dawson whispered it into every female contestant’s ear.
He’s also taking way less of his team’s cap. That’s the way the game is played in the cap era. Brady has gamed the system.

Dude has made a “career” bashing Tom Brady.
Brian Gutekunst will talk with the media today. I hope somebody asks him why the #Packers are the only team without a free agent signing? Is his roster so good that no outside player could possibly make it better?

Cant believe the season starts tomorrow and 100% of the free agents are signed! If you don’t consider re-signing your own free agents as “free agent” signings then yeah it’s been a very unsuccessful offseason...as BG said they signed the top LT in the league, the top RB and DT on the market, and the best blocking TE in the league. 21/22 starters from the NFC runner up. Guess that’s unsuccessful.

A couple of things that haven't been discussed yet:
At the most recent owners' meeting, they modified the rules for onsides kick attempts, primarily only allowing 9 players on the receiving team to line up "in the box". Experimental rule for 2021 may make it easier to recover onside kicks
Another is a rule change regarding jersey numbers and specific positions; i.e., we could see LBs wearing single-digit jerseys, but with some crazy requirements to do so. NFL jersey numbers rule explained

Can we just skip to the NFCC Game and see what happens?

What does the NFL gain from this change other than Jersey sales?
Old jersey $ loss?
