@TomSilverstein: #Packers have informed RB DuJuan Harris they will not extend an exclusive rights tender. He is a free agent come 3 p.m. Tuesday.

@WesHod: Harris, an exclusive-rights free agent, would have cost $650,000. GB must feel good about where they stand with Lacy, Starks and Rajion Neal.

No shocker here. They can always re-sign him later if he's on the street. He should make it somewhere.

Janis for kick returns!

If Bulaga is signed by 3PM tomorrow, it may effect the level at which they tender Barclay.

Guy claims to be talking to family of Packer official. He ain't Doc Benni or Wisconsin Johnson or McGinn with his sources but tracks with what @PackerUpdate was getting from his source. We'll see.

@PhillyHoopsTalk: Packers to sign Bryan Bulaga today, according to sources.

@PhillyHoopsTalk: Family member of Packers' official says Bulaga deal to Packers is agreed upon. May be finalized today.

@PhillyHoopsTalk: Guessing #Packers are following policy after NFL told teams to stop leaking FA signings, but source told me Bulaga & GB agreed to deal today.

I think these guys are pissed about blowing their opportunity in January.

Keep the band together & give it another try.

I find it difficult to believe they'll all stay healthy but I'm hoping.

Surprised by Barclay's lack of tender.  He seemed like a perfect 6th OL, a guy that has starting experience, a little room to grow, and can play the entire right side of the line.  With him and Tretter, they can handle any injury on the OL with minimal moving around (only necessary shift would be Bulaga to LT if Bahktiari went down).

Maybe he's not recovering from his injury as expected.  Or maybe they'll just tender him at the deadline.

This is the top offer I would give Bulaga.

Bryan Bulaga = 4 years, 30 million, 6 million signing bonus

2015 = 3 million base + 1.5 million pro-rate signing bonus

2016 = 5 million base + 1.5 million pro-rate signing bonus

2017 = 7 million base + 1.5 million pro-rate signing bonus

2018 = 9 million base + 1.5 million pro-rate signing bonus

2015 and 2016 base salaries guaranteed, so 14 million guaranteed

Looking at the right tackle numbers on overthecap, this deal would be tied for 3rd among right tackles in total valve, 1st in average value/year, 3rd in guaranteed money and 2nd in average guaranteed money/year.  IMO a more than fair contract for Bulaga especially when considering the injury history.

If bids for Bulaga exceed the 35 million dollar mark, then I'd gladly take the comp pick, turn around and make an offer to Tramon Williams-

2 years, 10 million, 3 million signing bonus

2015 = 3 million + 1.5 million pro-rate signing bonus

2016 = 4 million + 1.5 million pro-rate signing bonus

2015 salary guaranteed, so there is 6 million guaranteed in this deal.

More and more I like the idea of bringing Tramon Williams back.  He is still a pretty good player that should have at least one more good year left in him.  The Packers would be back to being 4-deep at the position with Goodson as the 5th developmental player.  I also like this CB draft in terms of what Thompson usually looks for, there are many speedy guys with height and there should be some attractive candidates available at the ends of round four and five.  Bringing back Williams would allow Green Bay to ignore CB early in the draft, focus on ILB, DT, RT and still be able to draft a size/speed guy later.

This is the one. He'll get the lowest tender today from what my sources* say

Andre Johnson rumored to be headed to Patriots, Colts & Packers

While this would be fun, I don't see Thompson offering up the cash needed to get AJ. Even at 34 he is still a big threat and will likely get a bigger deal.

Again, just like with Percy Harvin, signing vets who don't know the offense has not been Thompsons MO. They seem to like to stick with developing young guys. Johnson will either take time away from Adams on the outside or he will be the #3 wideout behind Adams. Either way it's not ideal for Johnson or GB. That is unless he will come ridiculously cheap which is highly unlikely. Seattle alone will pay more than GB would, I have to believe NE would as well.

Way too much money for House, but good luck to him anyway. Pack should get a decent comp pick

That's about what I expected for House, maybe a little less.  But that's still too much for a guy that was unable to stay on the field and even when he did, was pretty up and down.

Really hope TT can keep Tramon for 2 more years.  If not, they need to draft/sign a guy who can play outside with Shields.  Not sure that guy is on the roster right now.

Not to mention they likely want to continue developing/getting reps for Adams/Janis/Abbrederis etc. Still....was fun to think about for a second. Andre would have been great in helping solve the Packers redzone problems

None of it matters though as the rumor is Andre AND Gore are both heading to Indy

Don't forget Seattle where Andre Johnson is concerned.

On House, good for him. Not anywhere worth that kind of coin. With Casey Hayward's contract up next year, in some ways the Packers' choice on House was also a choice on Casey. The latter is a much more valuable commodity IMO, just need to keep him on the field.

I am on record as saying I'd preferred Tramon to come back over House and still feel that way. He is the leader of that secondary and still has enough in the tank for a couple of seasons. Hope he comes back.

One last thing. Sam Shields really needs to pick up his game. Thought he'd regressed a bit last season. Agree with CUPackFan, Packers need to develop another outside corner to pair with Sam and hopefully Tramon.

Old and durable is better than young and brittle and Tramon was always the better way to go. Good luck to Davon but that's a lot of money to commit to a guy who's been unable to demonstrate an ability to stay on the field.

Pretty good guess Capers would prefer keeping Tramon over House as well. There is no mystery that Capers wants to keep as many veterans on his D as possible (likely why Hawk and Jones lasted as long as they did) and certainly Williams would provide a good vet presence.

House was clearly overpaid and it's just a matter of time before his next wear/tear injury occurs. Good player at times but durability a major issue.

Rapoport just said on NFLN that the Packers are working hard with Bulaga to hammer out a deal and that they are offering over $6 million. Said Bulaga wants to stay in GB and that he'd likely get a bit less from them than he would from other teams

Hopefully they wrap this up soon. Re-sign Tramon after that and then either Guion or Raji(another cheap 1yr deal)

TT has never shown a willingness to bring in aging veterans at a position with a lot of youth.  Yeah he brought in Woodson, Saturday and Peppers but there wasn't much to develop at those positions.  This team has 4 young pass catchers that need to be developed and Johnson would just hinder that.  And for what?  Maybe a year of above average production?  Just not how TT does business.
