ESB can call the moving company.
Malik Taylor has made the 53.
Malik Taylor with a helluva catch
Excellent throw there by Love on the OS penalty.

Which is why if the Pack is safely ahead or way behind he needs to be on the field. No sense worrying about hurting anyone’s feelings.

AmRod showing great hands...
This Hill kid is impressive.
Braden can't play tackle.
WTF
Another horrible decision by Love. Once is a learning experience. Twice begins to become a concern.
That figures. FG wide left.
That was going to be another horrible pick.

Today's game is exactly what Love needs to develop. It's the closest to a "real game experience" he's had so far.

Hey, somebody traded for Josh Jackson. Anything is possible!
Maybe Molson is on the roster for a reason?
So let me get this straight. There are 2 weeks until the regular season starts? Has it always been like this? Seems like a long wait.

New this year. Basically a bye week before the regular season.
Is Benkert coming in for the 3rd quarter?
That was a disappointing half. Not that the Pack played badly, but not scoring was.
There were a few mistakes that could be expected from rookies/young players, and a few bright spots from the same.
Hill, Taylor, and Heflin still continue to make strong cases for roster spots.
Jordan just needs to get it in his head that he doesn't need to throw it on every play. Same thing we saw in college. It's as though he feels he has to make something happen since they're down.
When he's on rhythm he's been great though.

Miscommunication between Love and our Center and Amari threw the timing off.

It's situational awareness. You can throw those passes on 4th down (or even third down outside of FG range if the result of an interception is the same as a punt). You can't do that on first down or third down in FG range.
Just remember it’s bills 1’s vs our 2/3’s - this just in- that throw by 10 is not gonna cut it preseason or not - hope he is learning QUICKLY from that kind of mistake or he won’t be in the nfl
I thought the cut to 53 was by COB Tuesday...??

You can't make those kinds of throws in a D3 game in front of a 100 people. It's the same concern that caused problems in college.
Tuesday Aug. 31, by 3:00 LFT.

Does handle pressure well. Don’t think that can be taught.
Seems like a decent dude so I hope he does well, but I hope the Pack trade him because I don’t see him being any more than Jay Cutler.
Baby steps. Love tucks it and runs instead of tossing it up for grabs. If he breaks one tackle it's a first down.
Was that Ento on the missed tackle on the punt return?
Literally just noticed the first game isn't until September 12th...
And then the 20th (Mon)
Oh look, Kumerow.
Interesting to hear Brandon Beane talking about possible trades for Dline guys.
Hmmm, 10 million.

I think it can be self taught with a bit of guidance. Starts in the film room and understanding space and formation and situation. AR improved over time to the point where he and Brady are probably the best of those who aren't as physically gifted. But the film study has to be applied in situations like today. I didn't see the second poor decision-was it an INT or near INT? The first one was bad. I think in fairness, this game is a showcase of the Buffalo Bills, so it appears the Bills are dominating, but Love has done a few good things today. The key is learning something from every rep he gets.
Some rough play by the pack in the first half

There are a lot of those types of guys over the years: Jay Cutler, Kirk Cousins, Aaron Brooks, Jameis Winston, post-Holmgren Favre (statistically worse than Culter), Garoppolo. They are more physically talented enough to succeed and their stats usually look good, but they make poor decisions under pressure.
The problem is that it's tough to evaluate that unless it's when it really means something. It's like the guy who is an 80% FT shooter and then tightens up in the clutch. Can a guy like Love learn to succeed under those circumstances or do you either have "it" or not?
