Screw this....I WANT the Cowboys in Lambeau. Nothing would please me more than beating the Tap Dancing Jeezus out of that team on our way to the NFC Championship Game. Squash the "media darlings" & get to hear Aikman cry all in the same Sunday. It's brilliant.

I want the best team in Lambeau next Sunday. I want Dallas!

The line tightened up to 6.5 this morning. Just like Jason Garrett's sphincter.

"I'll step on Tony Romo's Thiiiiiiiigh. All the time.... Suh Suh Sudio"

You fight off all those negative thoughts Dallas. You hear me, you bury those negative thoughts way down deep. You can't **** this up!!!!

More Tretter implementation.   Could make for a interesting set putting him in not only as a part of a heavy package but the guy can actually catch a football too.  That wrinkle could be damn nice in the endzone and a hell of a disguise.

Understood, but I would rather see all the playoff games in Lambeau, and I just think the Lions have a better chance to beat the Seahags than do the Cardinals or Panthers.  However,  the road to the Superbowl would be sweeter with the Packers beating both the Cowboys and Seahawks.  Fk it, bring on any team.  PACKERS RULE!!!!

How'd that Peppers as a reciever work out?

What a difference the NFC took since after Thanksgiving.  Pretty much talk about how strong Dallas was and in Dallas they looked horrible against the Eagles.  Romo looked like he had a noodle for an arm.  It was all Eagles and Cowboys were gonna throw another season the way of mediocrity.

Supposing Romo's issues were injury related and are a thing of the past, Cowboys look pretty strong.

If they would've told Peppers he was intercepting the ball instead of merely catching it would've been perfection.  Of course he probably would've raged 102 yards the other way destroying everything in his path but the TD would've counted already.

The number one thing that the Cowboys have going for them is their offensive line & RB. They can run the ball on third & short ( even when the defense is stacked to stop the run) to keep drives alive & score TD's in the Red Zone. The difference with us is that we can run the ball when the defense is playing "pass" (an improvement), but struggle in Red Zone & short yardage. Cowboys oline can impose their will on a team which IMHO is why they have been so successful on the road....Romo does not have to audible much because they can still run effectively even with 7/8 defenders in the box.

If you play to their game and try to match run to run you'll likely lose.  That time eating run game isn't going to help much if they don't have a defense to stop a scorching Packers passing game.

Dallas D ain't Seattle or San Fran.

Please don't "talk down" to me like that in a post.  You are the one that embarrassed yourself with that last post.   Use the PM if there's a problem.  Absolutely no reason for you to post that gibberish unless you want to flame.

Anytime someone steps up with politics on one side, I will try to "balance" things out.  The problem is that everyone is so used to it and when the other side speaks up, all of sudden it's "a cause" or something.

Notice the problem in the first post or don't bother responding to the responder.

I don't have a problem with you or anyone.  However, I've seen enough liberal politics thrown into topics/posts that don't need to be there.  So, I am sure TimesFour isn't a political arm of any party or political thought.  So, reply to EVERYONE with your banter when politics is brought up.  I could give a rat's ass what your political beliefs are....I am not a conservative either, I am an independent/libertarian.   I am just tired of seeing the liberals take digs here and there and not get called out on it.

It is time.

Kick return for TD on first play of game should be a near certainty

Maybe this deserves its own thread, dunno.

@TyDunne: #Packers promote Eliot Wolf to director of player personnel.

@jasonjwilde: #Packers announce that they've promoted @eliotwolf46 to Director of Player Personnel. Had been Pro Personnel Director the past three years.

@TyDunne: With spots open on other teams, #Packers trying to keep their front office together.

@RobDemovsky: #Packers doing their best to keep together top scouts -- @eliotwolf46 @alonzohighsmith and Brian Gutekunst.

@adbrandt: Packers promote Eliot Wolf. Known him since he was in high school, keen eye for talent, calm demeanor. Think the world of him.

In all likelihood.

Ron is advising the Jets on their GM/coach search and has been back in the mix of things as a result. Who knows for sure but it's a good way to get your boy a raise.

Always thought Eliot or John Schneider would be TT's successor based on nothing but obvious speculation.

I guess that is better than Wilde's normal annoying habit of referring to players by their twitter handle.

Meech was excused to make a movie with his comedy partner. "Meech and Hmong" hits the theaters after the Superbowl.
