I think this is the complete list of Packers FA's this year. Who do you think leaves and who stays? Not what you'd like to see happen, but what you think Thompson will do.

I think Flynn will be back. Jolly will be  a medical decision. If he is healthy, yes.  If no welcome back Pickett.

I don't think you'll see a lot of FA moves this year until after the draft. With such a deep draft with so many underclassmen coming out, if teams get what they want there FA may become very cheap.

I still don't understand Raji.   Was his contract voided or not?    And if so voided by the Packers or by the player?   As far as I can tell he is still under contract for next season so he is technically not a free agent.

The guys that have low or moderate contracts will be retained if the price is right... if not, I expect they'll be playing elsewhere.

I think TT will make Raji a priority to resign.  The sticking point is whether or not Raji wants to stay in GB.  My guess is he doesn't.

While Thompson really likes to keep his own guys, I don't think Raji wants to be back.

As much as he sucks, it would not surprise me if MD Jennings returns.

After the season was over, Mike Neal certainly sounded like a person who won't be back.

While I think the Packers would like Quarless back, some other team will pay more than TT will.

Jolly would be re-signed if he is healthy, but I think his injury was quite serious.

After the debacle at backup QB, TT will try to keep Flynn at least another year.  Flynn has proven the only place he has success is as a backup in GB, and he isn't likely to get another chance to start elsewhere.

Jolly - Neck, bruised C5 I think.

Neal has stated he wants to stay in GB.

I'll be really surprised if Jennings is brought back for more than absolute minimum and 6th S depth. He's not even close to being as valuable as Bush is.

I don't thing Raji returns if they keep Pickett. To me it's one or the other, and Raji is the younger option. Maybe they keep both with Pickett making substantially less than his previous contract (4 yr(s) / $24,750,000 signed in 2010).

I don't see anyone valuing Quarless more than GB, but we'll see.

Here's my take...

PlayerRe-signed ?Least likely/Most likely to re-sign
j.finleyno, GB doesn't fool around with neck surgery
j. jonesgone, Boykin is younger, cheaper
a.quarlessstays, getting more valuablemost likely to stay
e.dietrich-smithstays, AR likes him and his butt height
m.flynnstays, but will be a TC cut if we draft capable QB
j.starksno
j.kuhnno
k.bellno
m.newhouseplease, please, NO!
s.wallacenoleast, least likely to stay
s.shieldsno, TT won't get into a bidding warhope we keep!
b.j.rajino, TT won't get into a bidding war
r.picketteno, unless Jolly can't go and we lose Raji
j.jollystays, if neck healthy
c.j.wilsonno, what have you done lately?
m.nealno, but may come back after testing the market
r.francoisno
j.lattimoreyes
m.d.jenningsno, no and nosecond least likely to stay

Not sure why everyone is so high on Flynn.  He won 2 games replacing AR and in both played poorly in the first half, especially at Dallass.  There's a reason he was on 4 NFL rosters in 2013.  Give the reps to Tolzien in camp and he'll be just as good.   Tolzien is cheaper and has a much better arm.  Draft a QB and save a few hundred thousand to re-sign other guys.

I think EDS and Kuhn can go too, except AR likes both of them.  Not sure how that factors in.  I think they can replace both though.  I'd love to see them bring in Weston Richburg from Colorado State at center.

When thinking about who stays and who  leaves start with how much cap space the Packers have and how much does the rest of the league have. Thanks to our handy dandy  salary cap calculator we know the Packers have about  27 million in cap space.  Plus 4 million  more if Raji voids his contract, let wait and see if does void it.  The Packers currently have something in the area of the  7 most cap space in the league..

Only Oakland has a monster pile of cash, (60 million if Shields hits free Agency I bet this is were he goes.) to spend on free agents. At least half the league will have some cap problems, several teams will be in cap hell.

Subtract 6 million for Rookie contracts the Packers have between 21 and 25 million to spend. Also there will be a whole lot of veterans cut form other teams for cap reasons.

Also think a year or two ahead, there will be opportunities for the Packers to clear 10 to 12 million in veteran contracts next year.

So start spending the cap space, perhaps save 2 to 3 million for a veteran free agent safety, the Packers can bring back a whole bunch of there players if they want too.

Jesus ****.

  The great Tolzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzien

I didn't say he was great, I said talent for dollars he's a better deal than Flynn.  With the Wisconsin Swiss defense we have no backup QB, nor half the starting QBs in the NFL, are going to save a Packer season if AR is out.

Don't know if this has been posted or not......sorry if it has.

The Green Bay Packers have not yet attempted to re-sign free agent fullback John Kuhn according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com.

Kuhn is one of the most popular players in Green Bay and had an excellent 2013.  The veteran did not allow a sack as a third-down pass protector and was a huge factor in the success of rookie running back Eddie Lacy by paving the way as lead blocker.  That said, the Packers have salary cap issues and there is a limit to how much they can afford to pay a part-time player.  "You have a comfort level with John that's huge," quarterbacks coach Alex Van Pelt said. "That would be a hole we'd have to fill."

Despite his value and popularity, Kuhn will likely have to take a pay cut from the $2.35 million he made last season to suit up for the Pack again in 2014.  The Packers did sign fullback Ina Liaina to a reserve/futures contract on Monday.

Will FB John Kuhn be back with Pack next season?

yeah Breno, the constant stiff while in GB, finally got it together I guess.

I've seen enough of The Constant Whiff with Newhouse.  If he's gonna be successful I'm fine with that being with a different team.  From what I saw this year the guy's got no heart.  Don't know if it's something in his personal life or what but he can head down the road with it.
