This is fine if they are actually growing but it looks like Doubs is regressing and Watson has been exposed. The OL loses Bakh and falls completely apart. A lack of motivation and confusion on both sides of the ball points at the coaching staff. None of that is affected by dead money.

Doubs is struggling, no doubt. Watson was interfered with, on two passes headed his way, and no flags were thrown by the Hochuli crew. Not Watson's fault. So, where were the plays involving Toure and Wicks? Wicks dropped a couple of passes against the vikings, but he helped move the chains again, later in the game. Brandt is correct when he says this is a growing year. We need to be patient and that is hard to do.  The OL has problems in Walker, Myers and if Newman is in the game. We need to fix that. Walker is a back up. Yosh should have been starting at LT for us all season long. Looks like OT, S and maybe CB are in order for the next Draft/FA period. CB is a need as Jaire looks to have regressed, a bit, too. I am not putting QB in that group, yet. We do need to look at our coaching. Both OC and DC need to looked at. IMO, Steno and Barry, still having jobs is puzzling.

I've tried to stay convinced it's the youth that is causing so many issues on offense but the continuation and increase of the mental errors says there is something else lacking.

I recall the early years of Holmgren and MM and I do not recall either of those teams consistently making as many mental errors as this one has over the last 5 games.  It's the first thing you have to clean up or nothing else has a chance to succeed.

I'm thinking give Love these last 10 games. If he shows honest improvement, fantastic, keep going. If he doesn't, or even regresses, drat one of the top QBs in the first round and draft two OL in the second. It would be helpful to grab a receiver in free agency, high mid tier. Give Love next season to turn it around with competition, and if not, either trade him at the deadline or take the comp pick and roll with the new guy. If Love works out we can either trade him or the new guy later on. The big red dog might have to go to PS.

Lowest PFF grades on offense:

1. TE Josiah Deguara: 40.9
2. TE Tucker Kraft: 41.0
3. LT Rasheed Walker: 53.0
4. RB Aaron Jones: 54.2
5. C Josh Myers: 54.6

Deguara played only five snaps but earned the team’s lowest run-blocking grade. He missed blocks each and every week. Kraft played 11 snaps, earned a poor run-blocking grade and didn’t have a target. Walker was penalized twice, gave up a sack and had a low run-blocking grade. Jones fumbled once and dropped a pass, and his longest gain over 11 touches was seven yards. Myers gave up three pressures (one sack) and was poor in the run game.

The only positive regarding Degaura is that he will be off the team and on to his next career selling used cars or something similar in about 2.5 months.

But it will really suck if fellow 3rd rounder Tucker Kraft becomes the next Degaura in 2024 -- a TE/HB who can't block and offers nothing in the passing game.

You expect Rodgers to throw to a rookie?  LOL

You and I also know damn well we wouldn't have drafted Higgins.  Nice hindsight take though.

Rodgers will happily throw to rookies who have their shit together, and Higgins had his shit together. Heck, he opened last season with a perfect throw to a rookie who didn't have his shit together.

We used both Dillon & Jones on the second play of the game and ran a play that we just killed the Rams with in a home playoff game a couple of years ago. Jones motioned out and Love can either hand off to Dillon, or pass out to Jones. He handed off to Dillon, who gained 7 yards. If he threw to Jones it may have been an even bigger gain..... we never used the play again.

Well it wasn't a 20-point loss like I predicted, but it was ugly nonetheless.

Love is a regular season rookie.  He deserves the opportunity to prove he belongs the rest of the season, but his poor accuracy is definitely a concern.  His team, including coaches and the GM, just are not doing him any favors.  His O-line, other than Jenkins, would be backups on other teams.  They are also poorly coached.  A lot was lost when Steno became the O-Cord instead of the O-line coach.  It was two losses, actually.  The first loss came because he was a decent O-line coach.  The second loss came when he was moved to OC.  It doesn't seem he's cut out for that job.  The guys on the line are undisciplined and don't seem to know what they're supposed to be doing.

I also wouldn't underestimate the losses of a couple other coaches as well.  I have no idea what qualified our current WR coach, but the receivers don't run good routes, and they often don't seem to know where they're supposed to be going.

The other coach we lost that should have become our DC was replaced by another relatively unknown, and that was Jerry Gray.  He was an outstanding coach and it was a shame he was allowed to walk away.  Our secondary is regressing under the new coach.

MLF is a poor coach, I'm finally ready to say now.  He has no eye for other coaching talent, and is too soft on his players and coaches.  It's also become apparent that he sucks at designing and calling plays.  Plus - again, why is Jones riding the bench 80% of offensive snaps?   And then there's Barry, of course.  SO glad we have him and not Gray.  Finally, under MLF, the mistakes are not getting fixed, and the offense is actually regressing if that's possible.

Want to see what a good coach can do?  Laugh at the Broncos all you want (and yes, I do because I hate them), but they have less talent than we do and they've won 3 games straight while getting better, not worse.

This team is an absolute mess from Murphy on down.  I hope a house cleaning comes sooner than Murphy leaving, but frankly I think it's better to clean house when we have a new president so then the new president can get all new staff and hopefully eliminate the stupid fucking silos that control freak created.

Murphy has single-handedly destroyed this team in a brilliant display of what stupid and power combined can do.  At least GB has some nice sledding hills though.  GTFO Murphy.
