Rams should have went for it on 4th down. They only had 1 T O left, gave the game away with the punt.

I thought they should've called their last TO before the 2-Minute warning.

Didn't think the punt was that bad. His defense had shut down the Lions in the 2nd half up to that point

Refs let Lions hammer Rams players all game long. The late hit and then slammed by another lineman and Stafford's eyes roll back. The last pass with the jersey yank and early hit. A hit OOB. Refs can't find the flag.

Playoff football. They usually let 'em play....I'm all about it except the egregious fouls. The holds on Micah Parsons by the Packers.....rightfully called.

A minor tug on the back of a jersey by a Lion defender that didn't stop the receiver from making a catch on a imperfectly over thrown ball....Swallow the whistle and keep the flag in your pocket.

Don't expect anything different next week

If CHI actually makes the right decisions this offseason sitting in the catbird's seat (yes, i know) the NFCN will get really good.

Agreed.  And I don’t think the Vikings are a hopeless case either if they even have just a good QB.  That Justin Jefferson plus Jordan Addison combo is legit if they have a guy like Russell Wilson or a healthy Kirk Cousins throwing to them.

I fully expect the Vikes to either draft a guy like Michael Penix or trade for someone like Russell Wilson to stay competitive.

I thought he did well.  But Billy Bob Thornton gave a tour de force in his season.

Billy Bob is a great actor and that was one of his best roles.

Rock was good. I just had problems suspending belief and seeing him as a gangster. Like most comedians who go into acting he seems to take well to it.

IMO.....the biggest mistake McVay made was not calling his final timeout BEFORE the 2-minute warning. IDGAF what these ANALytics say. 👇🏼

You cannot tell me going for it on 4th and 14 is a better decision than punting the ball when your defense had completely shut down the lion offense in the second half.

The odds of you successfully completing a 15 yard 4th & 14 are much lower than your defense performing a 3 & out especially when you have history in the 2nd half of doing so.

Ram defense allowed 3 friggin points in the 2nd half. They shut them down except on the last drive when they needed one more stop.

If I'm McVay I stand on that podium and say I'd make that same decision 100 times out of 100.

Hindsight doesn't work here. Making in game decisions at the time with information you have is the way to go.

You're always going to be second guessed as a HC because a-holes have the benefit of hindsight that you do not have.

Guess will agree to disagree here Boss.  Being Detroit had not moved the ball most of the half made it more likely they would eventually.  You always bet the odds, the odds were Detroit was going to move the ball enough to run out the clock.  And that is just what they did.  Not using hindsight, I thought they gave it away the second they punted.

Just because Joe Barry sucked the first three quarters of the season doesn't make it more likely he'd eventually not suck.
