It’s incredibly impressive how Saquon Barkley handled sitting out Week 18, missing the chance to go for the rushing record — against his former team as well. He clearly wanted to play and cement his place in history, but he understood prioritizing the bigger goal — helping guide… https://t.co/mLjXr81VKy pic.twitter.com/16pYeeDnRb

Playoff vibes are a little weird. All 5 losses are to 3 teams seeded above us on the NFC side. Could be a perfect revenge tour in theory, but the risk of a Det or Min SB berth fills me with dread.
We need to get to breaking the rest of the division's spirits early in the season and thus being the sole representative for the NFC North. Law of averages say sooner or later a MN kicker will make a big kick in the playoffs and then what? I don't want to live on that planet.
Minnesota has had plenty of other flash in the pan one or two year reclamation projects at QB- think Randall Cunningham and Case Keenum and Jeff George. Sam Darnold is the latest. At some point they have to break through, right? Difference this time around is they actually have a good head coach.
It's not the Vickling's themselves winning an Owl that's so bad, it's their shithead fans.
I know he decapitated 2 people, but 143 yds/gm is damn impressive.
Do I have this right? The winner of DET/MIN sunday night game gets the #1 seed and a bye but the loser gets a WC spot and might have to play next saturday. Bit of a swing there.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong... but I THINK the MN/DET winner gets home field advantage and a 1st round bye while the loser gets the 5 seed and goes on the road next weekend.
There's zero chance the loser of the Det/Minn game plays on the road next Saturday. And I'm pretty confident the Packers will get the Monday Night game against the Eagles (unless Dallas beats the Redskins).
I believe Pakrz is correct as the loser of Queens/Lions becomes the #5 seed as a Wildcard team. Correct me if I'm wrong but all Wildcard teams start on the road vs a Division winner.
Edit: OOPS, I missed the part about playing on Saturday. So we'll see, but I agree Sunday would the day the #5 seed plays.
