Playoff vibes are a little weird. All 5 losses are to 3 teams seeded above us on the NFC side. Could be a perfect revenge tour in theory, but the risk of a Det or Min SB berth fills me with dread.

We need to get to breaking the rest of the division's spirits early in the season and thus being the sole representative for the NFC North. Law of averages say sooner or later a MN kicker will make a big kick in the playoffs and then what? I don't want to live on that planet.

Minnesota has had plenty of other flash in the pan one or two year reclamation projects at QB- think Randall Cunningham and Case Keenum and Jeff George.  Sam Darnold is the latest.  At some point they have to break through, right?  Difference this time around is they actually have a good head coach.

There's zero chance the loser of the Det/Minn game plays on the road next Saturday. And I'm pretty confident the Packers will get the Monday Night game against the Eagles (unless Dallas beats the Redskins).

I believe Pakrz is correct as the loser of Queens/Lions becomes the #5 seed as a Wildcard team. Correct me if I'm wrong but all Wildcard teams start on the road vs a Division winner.

Edit: OOPS, I missed the part about playing on Saturday. So we'll see, but I agree Sunday would the day the #5 seed plays.
