i love how the nfl is getting smart at the end of the year to avoid teams tanking it due to the fact they have nothing to play for.

Watching the Giants last night reminded me of the Packers. The Giants had a top 5 offense going into the game, but without their #1 WR & deep threat they looked lost. Vikes could play 7-8 defenders near the line of scrimmage, not having to fear the big play
That and the fact it didn't even look like the NYG's unpacked their bags.

After the Dallas Cowboys released Brandon Weeden, owner Jerry Jones said quarterback Matt Cassel would have won the games Weeden lost.
Weeden has now helped the Houston Texans to the brink of a playoff berth. He was asked Monday if it's a little more satisfying considering the Cowboys have become a "dumpster fire."
"I mean yeah, absolutely," Weeden said during an interview with Oklahoma City radio station 107.7 The Franchise. "We get to play extra football and (Jerry Jones will) be watching on his couch. That's what it's all about. We're playing for something and it's a fun time of year."
