Bogus call against Gary is as bad a one as I've ever seen.
+ Big game by Smiths. Jones was jonesin' it. OL did a pretty good job overall in giving Jones holes to choose from. MLF actually running behind Jenkins on the goal line. Patrick held up pretty well for Lindsley. Graham actually played. MLF's demeanor on the sidelines to handle Rodgers. And finally, Rodgers, who seems to finally be playing the short game to his and the team's benefit -- although I was wondering starting in the third/fourth quarter if he wasn't holding the ball trying to provide the final big-play dagger rather than keeping the chains moving.
-- Z needs to rest. Lindsley concussion. D looks like it needs either better conditioning or Pettine needs to make his adjustments sooner.
Double -- Refs. Bad calls both ways. Tough to see the non-existent roughing on Gary and the mugging by King on the INT. If Garrett had a challenge left that would have been overturned.

Though he didn't put up big offensive numbers, I saw RB Tre Carson block his ass off multiple times. A very clear reason they activated him over Williams. A nice performance by Carson that not many will notice.
and I can still wave to my queen fans in my neighborhood.
I love an O that fully utilizes it's backs in the passing game. It's an added layer of pressure on the D and often creates mismatches.
Thought Will Redmond had himself a nice game, both on ST and defense.
Who the heck is Sullivan? He also made a couple of plays.

Huge conference win. On the road. As an underdog. Without Adams and J Williams. Losing Savage, Linsley, both Smith’s for several snaps, King after the pick,
Gritty ass win. No need to split hairs over beauty points. Run D did enough to slow down Zeke.
Still pissed over the “false start” call on Dallas. Refs didn’t know what to call when the Dallas WR tried to jump out of the way to avoid the snap. Just a terrible call.
Won't show up at all as a positive anywhere, and will probably be on a bunch of negative lists. But I'm going to give 23 a +. Two tough weeks in a row for him, and it was tough to watch at times. But he got basically no help, for the second week in a row. There's something to that.
These are the type of games that can make the good better.

Big plus was possible heart attack was averted when the field goal was missed. Can anyone tell me why Rodgers routinely let's the play clock go to nearly zero before calling for snap, then has it snapped with 12 seconds still on clock when they're trying to run down game clock?
Getting that win, in Dallas, was massive no matter how ugly it got towards the end.
I'm concerned about injuries...again.
I rarely bitch about refs.. I accept that it's a fast game and human error will always be there. But come the fuck on with some of those calls.
Good news on King:
#Packers CB Kevin King said it was just a knee bruise that forced him into the blue medical tent after his INT. Does not expect it to be a problem. Certainly not as severe as the groin injury, which had him thinking Wednesday there was no way he could play. GB sure happy he did.

Would love to see a rule change that would allow defense to decline a false start penalty, like when Z recovered fumble.
The Smiths have now combined for 10.5 sacks, and they're not even all the way through 5 games. Z (2) and P (1) have three today. It's unreal how they've changed this #Packers pass rush overnight.

+ I had no expectations that this team was going to win. One of the few times I've enjoyed being wrong. I thought that MLF did a good job with his offensive game plan in the first half. With Adams out, the ball had to be spread around. Force feeding Jones and the success he had will open things up in the passing game going forward.

+ As mentioned, getting the W sans Davante and the wrs having little production, they found a way to put up 34 on a very good defense.
+ Finding ways to win games. As usual, GB feels the need to let a huge lead wither away. But the D made multiple plays to seal a victory, including clinchers that were taken away from them. Big plays in big situations.
- Not crazy about 12's decision making today. It's great that other units are chipping in to seal these wins, but AR is capable of so much better than he's shown. At some point they will need him to pull out a win or two. The errant throwaway that was ruled a fumble and the sack late are too reminiscent of Bert at this point.
One more minus........ Having to listen to Joe Buck and even moreso Troy Aikmen.

Funny, AR said in his presser that he thought it was the best game he has played this season. Said he has enough career stats and just wants to win. No turnovers is the most important stat.
Being 4-1 with this schedule with a team still figuring out what it is (and isn’t) is worth celebrating. They’re still nowhere close to a finished product, and Rodgers is still hit or miss with his throws. That brilliant throw to Tonyan, but then a pair or poorly thrown deep balls that could have cost them- this is Rodgers still working his way back to excellence. He’s not there right now.
So the defense continues to show out. They’re still weak up front, but they survived against one of the best offenses in football. Montravious Adams was supposed to suit up today, but I don’t recall seeing him.
Really concerned about the injuries... this game exacted a heavy toll- seems like that place always does.
Not to look ahead, but I'm going to. You'd have to assume that detwat is going to focus their defense on what we were able to do today. If MLF is able to flip the script and we win while having a big week from our WR's then I will be impressed. The ability to manipulate the offense to keep the defense off balance is the mark of a great coach. The "we do what we do" is not a recipe for long term success.
