With the way this team looks and the way this staff is performing

Vikes 27

Packers 13

Postgame: "Good week of preparation, came in with a plan we believed in, jsut didn't execute it enough. Left some plays out there and failed to get into a rhythm. Just didn't make enough plays"

The Packers just lost to the worst team in the NFL at home, when they tried to hand the game to us.

Next week we go on the road to play a very well-coached team with an improving and darn good defense. Oh yeah, AP again leads the NFL in rushing.

This one could get real, real ugly.

There certainly is a feeling that the Vikings are heading up and the Packers are not.

Pack's coaching staff certainly looking weaker and weaker compared to the other teams in the division. Zimmer is building something in Minnesota and has always been a good defensive coach. Bears probably have the best coordinator duo in the division. Lions are a mess but they certainly had no trouble vs Clements and this dynamic offense

Let's establish some O/U for this game.

For the Vikes:

Bridgewater -- 250 yds passing/50 yds rushing.

Peterson -- 150 yds rushing

Points --  24

For the Packers

ARod -- 250 yds passing

Starks -- 50 yds rushing

Points -- 14

See answers above in BOLD

How did I do?

I've got advantage Queens across the board. AR presently is playing like an average to below-average QB and at worst it's a push for the Queens. As far as coaching goes, not really a close call between Zimmer and MM and the game is away. Packers couldn't beat a 1-7 team at home with the 26th ranked defense and little chance they'll prevail in Minnesota.

Guess who I'm betting next week?

The same team I am betting this week

For the first time in a LONG LONG time I have no hope of a win over the spermheads.  Why?  Peterson is on fire and I am seriously worried about him running for well over 200 on this defense, it is on the road against a good team, and they are hungry.

God I hope I am wrong but I see a 31-10 type of loss.

I was at that **** show. Ugh. This team is way better than they are performing. We have seen it.

We should rip on the Queens. But, we should have ripped DET, CAR, DEN...

Living in the Twin Cities, I'm surrounded by plenty of purple fans. Having been starved for any success for so long I"m sure they'll be giddy about the opportunity to host the Packers when they're showing signs of withering. Nothing would make me happier than to see them all disappointed. I heard Ron Wolf was in GB last week and I'm reminded how his biggest challenge when coming to the Packers as GM was getting them to develop a winning attitude again. This team has more talent than they're showing and it's up to McCarthy to get it out of them. If they come out stale again early, there will be no come-back in this game.

Is this game the make-or-break game of the season? It kind of appears that way. I don't think I can recall a worse stretch in the M3 tenure. If this team has any hope of success this season, this must be a win.

I think this game is going to be an epic beat down physically. I don't think it will be a blowout because the Vikings aren't the type of team to blow other teams out, but they will own the LOS on both offense and defense. Something like 13-7 at the half for the Vikings. Eventually, Peterson will wear them down and the Vikings will pull away around the end of the 3rd quarter and go up something like 20-7. The Packers will go schoolyard and get within 20-14, but the Vikings will go on a long drive, run clock and kick a FG to go up 23-14 to essentially finish the game off.

This Packers team is as broken as it can get considering they've only suffered one major injury. It's baffling.

I'm not worried about beating the Vikings or even making the playoffs at this point since the way they are playing those are pipe dreams. They just better beat the Bears on Thanksgiving with Starr coming in for that game. I'm not usually one to call for rash firings, but if they lose to the Bears in what almost certainly Starr's last trip to GB then MM should resign. It would suck to end up 7-9, but they better fricking beat the Bears in that situation.

This soft team believes its press clippings just like the rest of us did.  The way this team fails is in spectacular fashion.  This isn't a losing streak, this is a character check.  They are failing that character check exponentially.

I almost feel bad for the defense.  They are playing good enough to compliment that soft, sad sack offense that can beat on weak teams, which they can't even do that anymore.  Yet, you can't help but get gashed as the game goes on when you're constantly on the field.

Offense and Rodgers are ****ing pathetic right now.

Anything other than a Super Bowl victory & this season is a complete failure.

I'm beginning to wonder if Rodgers & MM are having issues. Maybe MM &/or Rodgers want to leave Green Bay & this is their way of getting out.

Rodgers was playing lights out for 6 weeks with uncanny accuracy. Hell.... Pete Carroll called Rodgers performance the best QB play ever.

Guess they felt that Seattle win was our super bowl.

I want to know what happened to our MVP QB during the bye week. Because we haven't seen that guy since the San Diego game.

In my opinion the Packers are suffering from the trauma of the loss to Seattle last year in the NFC Championship game compounded by the loss of Jordy this year.

The team has lost confidence in the offensive plan coupled with the confidence in their own abilities. The slide was evident in the first six games given the steady drop in offensive production culminating with the Denver game.

I will gladly be castigated and mocked if the Packers can turn this mess around however I just do not see that happening.

In an epic ass kicking the Viqueens do the Packers in to the tune of 38-13

McCarthy - choker (look no further than the NFCC game)

Rodgers - it may be time to admit he's a choker as well.  With the lead he plays great, but when struggling or in a tight game they never seem to make the plays to get the W.  Just see the last 2 weeks for examples)

Crosby - epic choker.  When have you ever seen a kick missed that badly?  I don't think it hit the punter's hand.

Yep. Eleventy Billion.

Epic season.  Just when we were finally about to take the lead in the all time series record vs. CHI.  CHI's hair is on fire right now.  Not looking forward to Thanksgiving.

As long as we're all singing the blues...the most disturbing part of the current malaise is I don't know what this means to the team moving forward.  Is it really just a funk they can work out of or are more than one player headed south, opening up all kinds of new holes to fill on the roster?  I don't know what to think about AR.  Odd point of his career to be in a slump, slow and clumsy WR's notwithstanding.

You can add this weak ass coaching staff as another group reading their clippings as well. MM believes and has said time and again he has the best coaching staff in football and won't hear anything else. He's so convinced his complicated, intertwined, high tech offense that virtually no 1st year player is capable of grasping, is the best thing out there.

Yet he can't see past that same playbook that these current players aren't excelling in it and instead he and Clements or Clements/Bennett or MM/Bennett or whomever the fu** the combination is can't adjust for shi! or when they do it's way too little and too late. Meanwhile speedster WR's like Janis! and up until now Abby sat and rotted on the sidelines because "ZOMG!!! It's too complicated for them to figure this out.

To put this all on "Ya but they don't have Jordy" is also pure horseshiit. To be this inept and dysfunctional with the same starting OL and mostly now healthy WR's going against division II cornerbacks in the Lions is criminal.
