He does.

From yesterday's presser:

@RobDemovsky: McCarthy said fear of losing your job is healthy then chuckled. 'After Denver game, drove up to Lambeau and his [McCarthy's] pass wouldn't work.' [MM then said "Holy schnikes..."]

MM: "To be honest, I came here after the loss to Denver and my card wouldn't swipe to open up the gate. I thought one loss and they fired me."

I imagine Jerry Jones would make a solid contributor to X4, he's on the same page with a lot of folks here.

If only there were instances where a BB led team let an inferior team come from behind to steal a win with a championship on the line...BLASTED I can't think of any examples of that happening...

Exactly.  As a former first round pick, Packer fans are really giving Abby a pass for not being on the field more.

Might as well put this in the "stupid **** fedya said" hall of fame, but the space is getting thin.

You do realize who that inferior team beat in the playoffs both those years don't you? Another superior team just like the Pats.

For the record, I am not questioning Abby's toughness.  He's strapping them up and playing.  But he's just not built to last in the NFL--he's had concussion issues in the past, and defenseless hit or not one big hit and he might have broken ribs.  As Fedya said, it's his durability that worries me.

Toughness and durability are two completely different things.

I'm as big of a Badger homer as there is on this board, so I want nothing more than for Abby to succeed here, but I just don't think his body will allow it.

Some interesting stats regarding Aaron Rodgers since he threw his first INT of the season.

NOTE:  These numbers were totaled PRIOR to the start of the Packers Lions game.
PackersRodgersNumbers

Prior to throwing his first INT in the Rams game Rodgers number looked like this:
92-130 for 1,051 yards, 6 sacks, 11 TDs and the 1 INT with a 119.7 QB Rating.
That’s good for 70.8 completion % and 8.08 Yards Per Pass Play.

Since Rodgers threw that first pick of the year, his numbers have looked like this:
73-124, 894 yards, 13 sacks, 6 TDs and 2 INT with a 90.6 QB Rating.
That’s good for 58.9 completion % and 7.2 Yards Per Pass Play.

In almost the same number of attempts, Rodgers productivity has dropped to almost half.

Also…..Notice the number of sacks…they have more than doubled.

His affliction may be the same as the team's.  After last season they thought they arrived.  They thought they could step on the field and dominate when called upon.  Teams seemed to give up after they jumped up early on them.  They're not doing that anymore.  The majority of the fans and media thought GB belonged in the SB last year and it was just bad luck they weren't.  The majority of the media picked them to play in the big five-oh this year.  A funny thing happened on the way to Arizona.  Plateauing, no matter how high, is a dead end.  Eventually somebody else gets there and climbs higher.  If you're not getting better, you're getting worse.  Now they ARE somebody's underdog.  They're a lot of people's underdog.  Time to respond, mofo's!

There's my $.02, which won't even get you a cup of coffee.

I never put stock in the "AR is too worried about his INT stats" viewpoint, but you never know. Something does not look right with him? Could his "I guess something scared me" a refrence to something the coaches have been telling him? Such as "stop being scared to throw the ball"? I will always maintain that Favre was obsessed with his consecutive game streak in his last 4-5 years with us & he often threw the ball up for grabs so he could somewhat protect himself from inevitable hits. AR appeared to embrace the "no INT" moniker even more intensely than other QBs because he knew that Favre was criticized for it.

For all of the public acknowledgements of Janis not being quite ready, and still learning - mentioned again by MM in his presser - how complicated is running a fly or deep post route?  Clearly, the receivers on the field are having trouble getting separation and teams are playing GB with one safety deep and daring them to throw the intermediate routes.  Why can't they use Janis' speed to stretch the defense and make them respect the vertical threat that jordy used to provide?

MM mentioned fundamentals at least 10 times in his presser Monday.  Did anyone notice the third down play on the Lions first set of downs on their late 4th quarter TD drive.  It was third and long and Stafford rolled left and passed for a first down.  Clay Matthews was coming right at him and never got his hands up to take away the passing lane.  Stafford delivers the ball from a low angle, Clay could have easily knocked it down and forced a punt.
