Brotha man.

Watch sports without anger...

It's so much more enjoyable.

If they win, be happy.

Lose ? You still gotta go to work tomorrow and they're still millionaires.

Perspective.

Shabazz came to play. Need that guy out there when offense stagnates. He isn’t perfect, but he gets good looks.

Giannis willing this team right now. They are getting nothing from anyone else.

The Bucks lack defensive execution, offensive spacing, consistent rotations, and continually get outplayed at the end of quarters. Sounds like coaching.

Also, how do the Bucks go 3-4 possessions in a row sometimes without Giannis touching the ball? WTF?

So this is the Bucks defensive strategy... put Middleton on Monroe, then double with Bledsoe... brilliant.

Giannis is unstoppable down low, so let's have Bledsoe dribble around and have Giannis shoot a 20 footer?

This season needs to end. I’m sorry to sound so negative, but this team is so poorly coached there’s no chance to beat a team that’s well coached. No chance.

We get this sh*t product until there’s a coach on this team who knows how to put a lineup and teaches (or more to the point PREACHES) fundamental basketball.

I will leave with this- Giannis is a G who happens to be 6’11”. The Bucks have put Giannis on Horford, a guy who has torched the Bucks all season. Hordord does exactly what you think he’d do- overpower Giannis and negate his advantage.

Then in the start of the 4th quarter they put Middleton on Monroe. Moose has at least 50 lbs on Middleton, and 3 inches. They score 9 points on post ups with Monroe before they put a big back on him.

If you think the problem on this team is talent, you don’t understand basketball.

The Bledsoe experiment has been a total failure.  He’s not a point guard and his mental lapses are inexcusable.   It’s easy to understand how Phoenix just walked away from him because all the talent in the world doesn’t overcome stupidity and lack of effort and motivation.

Then there’s Prunty.   You see Bledsoe struggling yet Brogdon plays half as much and why?   Jason Terry is getting minutes why?  Unreal

I don’t agree with a lot of what Jason Kidd did as head coach but this team played best when Giannis was inserted as the teams PG.   If Prunty isn’t willing to do that then he has to start Brogdon at PG because he will at least make the effort to pass the ball and play defense.   Bledsoe is a 2 guard charading as a PG and he’s been a disaster in this series.

The other glaring issue is what Music City poInted out.  Boston has made it clear they are going to pound Milwaukee inside so why is Prunty using guys like Giannis and Middleton to defend their bigs?  That’s just dumb.  Get Zeller in there because he can at least put up a fight.

Finally, you have Delladova back you need to play the guy.  He’s the one guy that can actually D up and slow down Rozier or Brown.   Giannis and Middleton are playing well so keep feeding them and Brogdon is your third option.

Bledsoe can come off the bench but he cannot be allowed to take 15+ shots a game.

The Celtics are beat to hell. With Brogdon back, we're healthy. And we're getting schooled. I agree with Music City. I hate to say it, but this season needs to end. We need to start the search for a real head coach now. And we need to improve the defense on this team.

And, Bledsoe can go, as far as I'm concerned.

Bingo.

The more you watch this series, it makes you realize that Giannis and Middleton are the only real championship starter level players.  Even Middleton, on a championship level team might be best as a high scoring 6th man instead of a starter.  Bledsoe, Parker, Maker, etc. all look like massive disappointments.  With Parker, it's not totally his fault that he had some awful luck, but he has a long ways to go at this point to become the guy everyone thought he could be.

I was somewhat embarassed watching the Bucks these first 2 games.  Just completely schooled even though they have the most talented player on the floor.

I felt embarrassed and disappointed after Game 1.   I’m just pissed and annoyed after Game 2.  It’s like they made no adjustments at all and even worse guys were in cruise control and loafing especially on the defensive end.  If guys like Bledsoe and Henson and Parker don’t want to make the effort then bench their asses.   I’d rather see Thon Maker out there look totally lost than one of those other guys mailing it in because at least you know Maker will play with some energy and effort.

Regardless of what happens in the playoffs they need to blow up this team in the offseason.  The first call I would make is San Antonio.  Find out whatever it would take to get Leonard and get it done.

The reason Thon Maker is lost is why they need a coach. He’s talented.

Bledsoe isn’t a lost cause. But without a coach to reign him in and give him focus, he’ll be very inconsistent. Like a lot of players.

The guy that I see as most indispensable now is Brogdon. He hasn’t played in 40 games and his value is more apparent now than ever.

He's one of the few guys who still ranks Kareem where he should be  - a top 5 player all time. A lot of people neglect Kareem when they list their all timers.

But i would disagree with that. He’s an all timer, but he’s not in the same category as Jordan, Bird, Magic. Jabbar is in Shaq’s category- had an era of dominance when they were superior athletically. There were greater players in their era. Olajuwon was a greater player than Jabbar IMO. Olajuwon is in my top 5, Jabbar isn’t.

No better all-around center than late 60s through mid-to-late 70s Kareem IMO. My only complaints about him when he was with the Bucks was how he'd pace himself at times and how he had occasional problems with the more bruising centers like end-of-career Wilt, Willis Reed, and Nate Thurmond. Dave Cowens gave him fits but Cowens did that to everybody.

Kareem was basically a extremely good shell of himself during the Lakers' showtime era.

Look, Olajuwon was fantastic at his peak. I'm not dissing him at all. But no big man ever had the entire skill set and height and court awareness and team player attitude and just general dominance of Kareem except maybe Bill Walton (who was much more limited offensively and whose injuries just kept him off the court too much). Wilt too except he was too selfish and stats driven.

Gee, what did Lew Alcindor/KAJ and Bill Walton have in common? Johnny Wooden, best BB coach ever.

And the skyhook? Most unstoppable shot in basketball history. It says a lot about KAJ that no other big man has even attempted to make that their go-to move. His ability to shoot that from all angles, with touch, while getting the hell beat out of him in the lane or anywhere, from 15 feet and in... just uncanny.

This team is a train wreck.

I agree with a prior post that when you look at the economics, paying big money for a known to be excellent coach is the best investment for the money.  If the Bucks do not pursue such a strategy, everything may as well be flushed down the toilet.

Obviously, keep Giannis.  Would like to keep Brogdon.  Would like to give Parker a longer look.  Don't know about Middleton.  Playing well now, but there were legitimate gripes about his game on this board.

I suppose everyone else is fair game.

Part of me didn't even want to watch last night.  I got pretty much what I expected save the concerns were more severe than I anticipated.  The differences in execution/discipline between the two teams is even astonishing.  One team grades an A, the other an F.

Absolutely among the most disappointed Bucks teams I have ever experienced.  I think when the Big 3 mailed it in the year after they lost in the ECF may be the only one that exceeds.  And that one included the infamous Ray Allen for Gary Payton trade.
