Maker certainly made a difference as did Brogdon and Delly and Parker and Bledsoe.

It just goes to show you what this team is capable of doing

It's exactly what makes this team so frustrating. They are clearly talented.

Sometimes you need to learn HOW to win.

Just the energy Maker brought made a big difference. How he fell out of the rotation is a mystery.

The other big thing is that, dare I say, Jabari Parker actually played good defense last night. Even when he gave up points he made them work. All he has to be is not a complete liability on defense and he has huge value.

All season long, Maker just trudged through the season. Simple things, like catching a pass, he struggled with. He got bullied by bigger guys, but the focus also wouldn’t be there.

And Parker could slay bums occasionally, but he didn’t play hard and didn’t focus consistently. Sometimes he’d still produce, other times he wouldn’t (35 against Denver, 6 against the Bulls). And he’s never been a burning focus guy to begin with- so that’s when he looks aloof. Suddenly the pressure ramps up, and his focus/effort didn’t come up with it.

The answer is simple- they’re both young guys, and they both thought it would come to them. But I’m guessing Giannis had some words for both... like when he told Maker last year “If you hesitate, I’ll punch you.”

I think so much of that is related to coaching.  From all the reports Kidd was extremely difficult on the players to a point I think they finally tuned him out.  Prunty doesn’t appear to be as much of a hardass, but I’m not sure he relates well to the players or has the credibility (former player) that Kidd had.

List of players in playoff history to block at least five shots and hit at least three three-pointers in fewer than 40 minutes: Draymond Green, Rasheed Wallace, Al Horford, Danny Green, and now… Thon Maker

This is what Maker is capable of. He’s definitely part of the future...

Bucks need to start fast and play with similar tenacity on D today.  You know Boston will have made adjustments and I really doubt they will sleepwalk through the first half like they did in game 3 nor will the Bucks shoot 50% from 3pt range.

Limit the turnovers, pass the ball well, and make an effort on the boards.  Don’t settle for 3 point shots and I’d like to see them get to the line more than they have.   Also, don’t commit silly fouls.  Giannis and Bledsoe were fortunate in game 3 as it was a blowout but those guys can’t make dumb decisions and get ticky tack fouls.

I’m thinking it will be a close game and hopefully our guys come out on top.

That last play of the half, Giannis has to take that himself.

I like the fact they are playing unselfishly (very Warrior like!) but on the last play of the half, do it yourself SuperStar!

Excellent first half - Giannis only has 2 fouls. Trending up! Gotta keep the pressure on in the 3rd because Boston will be ready!

Yeah, Bledsoe needed to make that floater but they're destroying Boston's transition defense. TIMEOUT BOSTON!!!

WOOOOOOO GET LOUD BRADLEY CENTER!!!
