I remember thinking before the draft that I liked Lacy, but didn't want him in the first just because he was a RB.

Now if they were to redo the 2013 draft, no question he is one of the first players taken.

Some folks talk about Eddie and the wear and tear, but after looking at his touches the past 3 seasons, he could end up with a longer than typical RB career.

And then not so surprised after watching what Bell can do.

Don't get me wrong, I prefer Eddie because of the attitude adjustment he gives this OL.  If Lacy has an asthma problem, does that make him Eddie Van Haler?

When I was in college a classmate of mine talked me into to going to a Parliament-Funkadelic show. He described it to me beforehand and I thought, "Yeah, right."

The Mothership. A g-damn actual P-Funking Mothership.

Looks like the 2015 version of Eddie ate the 2012 one. A reminder of what Eddie looks like at 230ish. Someone needs to show Eddie these highlights, then his rumbling stumbling run he had on Saturday....It's night and day, er maybe Fried chicken vs salad.

Edgar Bennett's comments weren't much kinder. And they shouldn't be. MM essentially linked his performance to a key reason they didn't get the passing game going either:

(On no deep ball) Everybody wants to talk about passing game, speedy receivers. To have a successful passing game, you have to have big targets that can move through the middle of the field. You look at the production of Jordy and Jermichael inside. When you don’t have that element, you see what we saw this year. Our run game was clearly better in 2013 and 2014 than in my time here, our front. It was probably the best potential for a defense to load up against our run.

GB will keep close tabs on Eddie up to the draft. Even if it means they fly down a PI and spy on his ass to find out where he's at. They're not going to make the same mistake they did last season by being blindsided he arrived in TC so out of shape and then have no plan B. My guess is Ted will draft his replacement somewhere in the mid-rounds regardless. Which sucks because I'm sure that's not a position TT felt he needs to replace so soon.
