It would have been Saints 17, Packers 15. A FG would have still won it.
There was a minute left in my scenario and the Saints ended up winning. MLF would have a LOT of hate in his direction even though the decision to go for 2 increased the odds of winning the game. Fans tend to flush analytics down the toilet when the end result is a loss.

Imagine the stress youβd feel as a rookie WR knowing that your all world future HOF QB is going to throw you the ball but also knowing that if you donβt catch it, then your HOF QB will likely ignore you for the rest of the game. Imagine what itβs like to be in the locker room with that guy every day.
Thatβs probably not the best way to help your rookie WR develop.
Compare that with catching passes for Love. You know that heβll keep throwing to you because he understands that as a rookie, youβre going to make mistakes. You also know that your QB is still growing into his position and heβs going to make mistakes tooβ¦.so you keep playing and you hopefully grow together as a team. everybody has each otherβs back.
Thatβs the QB that guys want to play for.

You notice Doubs and Reed and half the team making the "heart" symbol after they scored?
I did!
Because J-Love is the ONE! π€―. He's fricken NEO from the Matrix. Neo wasn't perfect. Neither is Love but damnit you just gotta like what you're seeing.

How would you like to be the QB that has to follow Favre AND Rodgers AND Love?

RE: 2 pt attempt on 1st TD
Short week, not sure MiLF wanted extra game time. If they don't convert, they still could tie with a TD/ 2 pt XP. Also, All gas, no fuckin' brakes!
Replay is on NFL Network right now. Just started

Something I had forgotten about. This is why Love is fun to watch. Heβs not perfect, but he goes thru his progressions and if youβre open he throws to you. Itβs really that simple.
Itβs odd that this feels like a revelation but here we are.
Anyone else noticing that Love isnβt holding the ball forever or playing sandlot and hero ball football all the time? Itβs like Iβm watching football like itβs supposed to be played.

He wasn't sending that message to Garrett Wilson, that's for sure. And the fact that Cobb pre-emptively warned the wr room of the same treatment only makes Rodgers look worse in that regard. It's one thing to hold people to a high standard. It's a very different thing to float a threat over their head for them to think about 24/7. For a guy who loves positive manifestation, it's hard to square the idea that such a tactic could somehow be productive for teammates and the locker room in general. That alone is a good reason to feel relieved that he's gone.
