Congratulations and welcome aboard !
Great post and one comment on your worst case scenario. Most of that pre-madonna stuff and AR being pissed comes from others projecting their thoughts and behaviors onto Aaron. And some of the people doing the projections are just idiots trying to stir the pot. It could  happen, but I doubt it.

Here's a good read on the man. Tune out the post-draft crapola and take some time to read and imbibe this lengthy interview, I think it sheds light on how he thinks and how he will handle the next chapter in his career.

Great article satori, it’s a worthwhile read. Another article I like is from a site not known for in-depth stories. But I liked it.

I guess I've never worried that Rodgers wasn't happy completing short passes.

He clearly favors recievers who are where they are supposed to be and don't drop passes, that seems reasonable considering the job description.

I'm hoping another year in Mayo Frogs offense get everyone even more on the same page, I'm guessing AR is pleased enough to have another run game weapon.  If I were him, I'd be pissed too that the premium pick went to a guy he doesn't want to see the field (side note- Gary Andersen QB's have been better receivers than QB.  Maybe there is something we don't know about the master plan).  I hope the run game opens up the passing game just like everyone else.

I still think we will be destroyed by teams that leverage the middle of the field and have quality TE's.

There was a stat posted by I believe Next Gen Stats that through around week 10 last season, the Packers led the NFL in WR separation. Under MM in his last year here, they finished 14th. The year before that, they were like 20th in the NFL.

The reason I bring that up is because if you go back and look at 2019 film, even TV tape, there were multiple times in games Rodgers had at least 1 WR breaking open where he chose another option and the pass went incomplete or Rodgers had to throw it away. Now when you are 13-3, a lot of that shit goes unnoticed or doesn't get talked about.

I think we as fans get fooled after watching Rodgers slice and dice for all these years. He spent a decade + mastering the previous offense and expecting him to be a maestro in year 1 probably isn't fair.

He and MLF have to get on same page and that takes time and they both seem committed to it, but its a process

AR certainly left plays on the table last year, and each fan gets to decide why they think that happened.

Here's a video with AR rolling through his thought process in the few seconds after the huddle breaks. Now imagine how all of that changes with a new HC, new offense and different players. And now they've had a full season to see how defenses reacted to things and will adjust accordingly.
2020 should be rather illuminating for all of us, but I'm happy to bet on Aaron Charles Rodgers coming out on top again.

I wanted an OL early. If you see my post in the Runyan thread -- "It's about fuckin time."

6th round picks -- I believe -- are solid value.

Instead of Dillon, I would've liked Josh Jones (early 3rd to Cards) or Damien Lewis (Seattle) but if Dillon turns into what GuteFisk & crew think he will....we ALL will be very happy.

This video on Reggie Begelton gave me some solace after GB did not draft a WR...

You know, in this video, Begelton reminds me of Jordy. Same type of build (Begs may be a little heavier), and the same stride length and smoothness. I don't know what Begs' 40 time is, but Jordy is probably faster with a little quicker feet. Begs is not a typically built slot guy, but it looks like he's not afraid to go for contested catches or throw his body around to make a grab. Unless he comes up with a bit more speed and quickness, he's probably a camp body. Either that or they hope to fool Rodgers with a brown Jordy?
