List the changes you would make and state your case for said changes.

TT goes.  I think he has become an average GM.  He hits on few and misses on many more.  If he wouldn't have hit the lottery with AR he'd have been gone a long time ago.  His reluctance to use FA during most of his tenure was maddening.  There are 4 guys in GB alone that might deserve a shot (Wolf, Gutenwhatever, Ball and Highsmith).  Besides, I think he just had a series of strokes so we'd be doing him a favor.

MM and his entire staff go.  The defense is horrible.  The specials teams is horrible.  The offense is horrible.  All of that falls directly on the head coach.  It's way, way more than just Dom and the defense.  The team is undisciplined, they make silly mistakes and play uninspired save for a few guys.  Clean sweep.

Change at the top of organizations is healthy.  New faces, new direction, new voices, new strategy and new routines.  The United States military changes command structures every 3 to 5 years no matter how good of a job you are doing.  There's a reason for that.  TT has been in control since 2005.  MM has been in control since 2006.  Over a decade for both... what some call stability, I call stagnant.

IT. IS. TIME.

I'm ready for a change on the defensive staff.  Not ready to change anything else at this point, but another poor year to follow up this year and then I would consider the "blow it all up" philosophy.

I think the Pack can come back quickly with a strong draft, a full return to health of #12, and a new voice for the defense.  If that doesn't happen next year, then completely gutting the GM and entire coaching staff might be necessary if they miss the playoffs a 2nd year in a row.

Dom is gone or I become a Bears fan.  Player tallant is unknown with this idot holding the clipboard.   Jim Leonhard!!!!!!!!!!!!

MM needs to get on Jenny Craig or Nutrisystem something or he's a dead man.  I hold him responsible for having to throw Hundley to us.  3 years to school this kid and he can't even chew gum right.  You're fired and get your life in order.

Uncle Ted allowed this train wreck and as long as we are clearing orfices get the group rate on moving vans.

And finally, the only player position after backup QB that is turrible is TE.  All the others are unknown until real coaches are on board.

It is time. It's time to start fresh. Good teams  are able to lose starting QBs and continue to win-Patriots, Vikings, even Philly. The Packers are not a good team. Thompson and MCCarthy's refusal to dismiss Capers and their inability to sign/draft/develop a back up quarterback would be enough for any team to make changes-throw in McCarthy's complete inability to game plan and coach without an improvising superstar  and that would mean firing on Jan 2, 2018. Let's give Rodgers one more shot before he hangs them up.

I've been following football for over 50 years.

I played QB and FS in my youth.

I coached my youngest son's flag football team to 3 straight undefeated seasons when he was 5, 6, and 7 years old.

I won my fantasy league 5 times in 15 years.

I would let Rodgers call his own plays.

I'd hire CWood and KGreene for co-DC.

I would be sure Janis! gets at least one Jet Sweep per game.

CWood hasn’t coached in his life. What makes you think he’d even be good at it? Let alone a defensive coordinator.

You sir, are overqualified

I keep TT.  I might be in the minority but i think the talent is here, it's just suffered from poor coaching.  I think TT does need to use free agency more, similar to what he did in 2017.  But I just don't think he should be fired.

Getting rid of Dom gives MM one more year but I'd like to see him bring in an outside OC.  His offensive scheme is pathetic and requires Rodgers to play at a HOF level for them to win.  It's no surprise that we've seen Philbin and Macadoo fall flat on their faces, as they brought the same offense to NY and Miami - only they didn't have Aaron Rodgers running it.  It's an offense that calls for very limited route concepts and calls for more WR/TE ISO.  When we complain that the Packers WR don't get open, it's b/c MM does not design routes to get them open; he expects them to beat coverage on their own.  Look at how few screen passes they run, or how rarely we see pick plays (and how bad they are at running them).  I think his offense has become stale and fresh ideas are necessary.

But you cannot clean house.  You clean house and it's 3 years before they're competing for a Super Bowl.  I just can't think of a team that has completely cleaned house, from GM to head coach to staff, and was competitive soon thereafter.  And what GM and head coach out there are immediate upgrades?  I could see a head coach improvement but not both.

Not too much to ask:

1) a defense that gives up around 17 points a game

2) a defense that doesn’t allow a follow up score EVERY TIME we score

3) an offense that will average about 28 points

4) an offense that will convert third and one at a 75% of the time.

5) special teams that doesn’t cost about 60 yard of field position with dum punt/kick off return decisions

Aaron Rodgers - Best QB in the league

David Bakhtiari - Best LT in the league

Davante Adams - Top 10 WR in the league

Bryan Bulaga - Best RT in the league (when healthy)

Mike Daniels - Top 10 DT in the league

Jordy Nelson - Top 15 WR in the league

Morgan Burnett - Top 10 SS in the league

Randall Cobb - Top 25 WR in the league

Kenny Clark - Top 20 DT in the league

Nick Perry - Top 20 pass rusher in the league

Corey Linsley - Top 10 C in the league

Lane Taylor - Top 20 G in the league

Blake Martinez - 1st in the league in Tackles

All TT picks and all but 2 are from 2010 to 2016. TT can still find talent and he can manage the cap.

MM has had exactly 2 losing seasons in 12 years...1 when he was breaking in his new QB and 1 when his QB was injured for 3/4 of the season. He’s still one of the best coaches in the league.

Disagree about WR's being open. Look at the first drives to open a game even with Hundley in there. Our WR's are wide open A LOT!!

Just because you list things doesn’t make them true. For example, Lane Johnson is much better than Bulaga. But why let facts get in the way?

Dom has to go. If nothing else, they need for opposing teams not to have 140 games of film on Green Bay's defensive schemes under Dom.

MM stays. I agree with Grave Digger.

TT doesn't go unless he wants to. I think he stays and they end up doing more of the same. Drafting a bunch of guys, counting on UDFAs, and not doing much in free agency. If Aaron Rodgers is healthy, they will be a 10 or 11 win team that will see if Rodgers can do his magic in the post-season and hope that a new DC won't have the defense wilt in the playoffs.

Hundley will be back as the backup. I don't see them spending the money for a veteran backup or drafting a QB high enough to matter the first year he's on the team.

If this becomes the case, they are either ignorant or stubborn to a fault. Hundley cost them a trip to the playoffs.

Note: Yes, maybe the defense did as well but did anybody expect anything different than what we saw on that side of the ball?

AGREE

David Bakhtiari - Best LT in the league

AGREE (OR CLOSE TO IT)

Davante Adams - Top 10 WR in the league

CLOSE TO TOP 10, BUT DEFINITELY TOP 20

Bryan Bulaga - Best RT in the league (when healthy)

AGREE. BUT HE WON'T BE READY UNTIL AT LEAST MID-SEASON NEXT YEAR

Mike Daniels - Top 10 DT in the league

AGREE - MAYBE TOP 5

Jordy Nelson - Top 15 WR in the league

NOT EVEN CLOSE. HE'S DONALD DRIVER IN 2012 AT THIS POINT.

Morgan Burnett - Top 10 SS in the league

NOT ANY MORE. HE JUST PLAYED AN ENTIRE YEAR WITHOUT A INTERCEPTION OR A SACK. HE'LL BE 29 WITH A SIGNIFICANT INJURY HISTORY.

Randall Cobb - Top 25 WR in the league

HE'S A TOP 10 SLOT RECEIVER, BUT NOT A GUY THAT SCARES DEFENSIVE COORDINATORS

Kenny Clark - Top 20 DT in the league

I THINK HE'S ACTUALLY TOP 5. HE MIGHT BE THEIR SECOND BEST PLAYER IN A YEAR.

Nick Perry - Top 20 pass rusher in the league

FOR ABOUT 6 GAMES EVERY SEASON

Corey Linsley - Top 10 C in the league

YES

Lane Taylor - Top 20 G in the league

SERVICEABLE, AVERAGE GUARD. PROBABLY LEAGUE AVERAGE.

Blake Martinez - 1st in the league in Tackles

I LIKE HIM ALSO.

All TT picks and all but 2 are from 2010 to 2016. TT can still find talent and he can manage the cap.

HE HASN'T ADDED A DIFFERENCE MAKER ON OFFENSE IN THE LAST 3 DRAFTS. HE'S ADDED SOME POTENTIALLY DECENT RBS, BUT THEY NEED A MAJOR TALENT INFUSION ON OFFENSE. THEY LACK SPEED AT WR AND TE. TOO MANY PICKS TRYING TO FIX THE DEFENSIVE BACKFIELD THE LAST 3 YEARS.

MM has had exactly 2 losing seasons in 12 years...1 when he was breaking in his new QB and 1 when his QB was injured for 3/4 of the season. He’s still one of the best coaches in the league.

AGREED. HE'S A TOP 10 COACH AND THERE WOULD BE A BIDDING WAR FOR HIM IF HE BECAME AVAILABLE. DORSEY WOULD HIRE HIM IN A NANOSECOND.

See above for comments.

I agree with you, but I think he'll be back. Unfortunately.

Okay, here’s the truth:

Capers must go.  TT should go, too.

However, let’s remember how it takes a few seasons for a new staff to get a team to learn their system and start winning; AR isn’t young enough to wait that long.  So, while I have concerns about MM, his offense with AR is very productive when players are healthy (which is also a huge concern and we need to figure out why each year we seem to be the most hurt team in the league), so keep MM to call plays for AR.

WR’s:  Adams and Cobb as 1 and 2.  Unless Jordy agrees to a massive contract restructuring.   But who’s number 3?  I really liked Geronimo last year,,,, but he disappeared this year.  Clark is worth a look, but he’s raw.  I say draft at least 1 new WR and get rid of Janis and T.Davis.  Those 2 are a waste of 2 roster spots.  TD isn’t even a good punt returner.

Other areas of needs:

Right Tackle, OL depth

LB’s.  We need better tacklers and most importantly, a PASS RUSH!

CB’s.  House wasn’t the answer.  I know our DC sucked, but how much is poor coaching, and how much is lack of tallant?  These guys looked as lost as Ahmad Carroll out there.

DL.  I know Lowry and Kenny Clark are improving, but what I saw was opposing qb’s having ALL DAY! To throw.  Maybe the answer is blitzing LB’s or Safety’s, but is it also partially sub-par DL play?  Should we maybe go back to a 4-3 defense?  What we’re doing isn’t striking fear into anybody except we Packer fans!

The biggest ass canning is apparently occurring tomorrow if reports are accurate that Dom is gone (and sources like Shefter are usually accurate).  That's the biggest catalyst IMO that had to happen.

With no other changes, the reality is Ted will be picking a player somewhere in the top 15. Guys like Earl Thomas and JJ Watt went in those spots. Just that one marquee player can turn around a defense. He'll also be coming into this draft with somewhere around 10-12 picks. He doesn't need hit on all of them, but that is a lot of throws at the dart board.

Couple that with a healthy Aaron Rodgers and an excited defense playing for a new voice and new energy, this team can turn things around quickly.

Now is Aaron still covering a lot of warts from Ted and Mike? Yes. But if this team goes 12-4 in 2018 and has a top ten defense thanks in large part to that new D.C. and a game changing  1st rounder ...how many Packer fans will really care?

Bottom line is winning still cures a lot

1. TT kicks himself upstairs.  New title of Quality Control of Player Acquisition. Or in other words glorified scout.  Not sure about a new GM, probably someone within.

2. MM gets a 2 year extension with the condition Dom is gone. Clean out the whole defensive side of coaching except for maybe Trgovac.  I'm not as upset with offensive staff as most. The Pack seems to have a good game plan.  Their opening drive is usually very good. it is the failure to make adjustments to counter what the opposing D does that bugs me.  Also many 3rd/4th down play calls.  Not sure who is responsible for this, MM, Bennett,

3. Zook follows Dom out the door.  We do need a complete overhaul on special teams except the 2 kickers and the long snapper.  Davis, gone. Janis!!!! gone.  We need special teamers who can also play more regular snaps.  More guys who are not only special teamers except for the kickers.  We need more depth at all positions.

4. It seems we are always overhauling the strength and conditioning staff yet injuries are still happening.  Maybe it is lack of padded practice and Thursday games are the reasons. Somehow we need to stay healthier.
