Dominant player and well-deserved.
YES!!!
Great!
And about damned time too!
βBout damned time!
Probably my favorite Sharpe moment.
2nd set of brothers in HOF. Bruce and Clay Mathews Sr. and now the Sharpe brothers.
It is about damn time!
I only have 1 packer trading card, you guessed it...84

BK thinks you're a heretic.
You probably wear Packer jerseys, too.
Finally!
That's great!! Good for him!!!
He was about the only thing a defense had to worry about and could not be stopped. Can't believe he finally made it, so happy.
No Gamecock football player will ever wear #2 again. Retired while still playing.

Talk about a tight window! How'd Brett fit that in there?
Just a big kid having fun
In honor of Sterling Sharpe's achievement, I won't be speaking to the media today.

The thing about that pass is he put a ton of air under it after rolling to his left and throwing to his right. Sharpe said he was worried about running past the end line on it. And he didn't celebrate, just stood in the EZ taking it all in. Goosebumps.
I know. Just follow the link.
Choo-choo baby!

1994-1997 Brett Favre is still the best QB I've ever seen other than Mahomes in terms of elevating an otherwise very average team (and even Mahomes has had Kelce). Even better than AR (who was consistently elite for much longer, but I would argue never hit the peaks that Favre did considering who their receivers were). Favre made throws that shouldn't be possible, and during that time had dialed down the idiotic plays because Brunell (who was also a very good QB) had almost taken over for him at some point.
I have taught some classes over the years and it was like one of those moments where a kid understands things for the first time and light bulb goes off. It was glorious to watch.
Holmgren mentally checking out in 1998 and the failure to hire Andy Reid in 1999 where what created the downfall.
We didn't know he was a POS human being then and he hadn't gotten so full of himself that he was uncoachable.

I was in the middle of working on a big project where a lot of people were depending on me and then was going to ask for a big raise at the last minute before I'd do any work to finish it.

Neither Clay Matthews Sr. or Clay Matthews Jr. is in the HOF.

I've said the same. I still remember, in his first couple years, seeing him rifle a ball into what looked to me like a lot of opposing jerseys thinking 'shit!' that it was going to be picked off, only to hit the one Packer within 10yds of the ball. I don't think I fully adjusted to expecting that kind of play until he hit is MVP stride. I didn't have access to his contemporaries at that time so I had never seen a QB routinely throw like that before.
He did throw more INT's but he completed a lot of ridiculous passes. This was often the main element in situations where he seemed to will the team to wins vs opponents they weren't supposed to beat. That was a really fun, cathartic time to be a Packers fan. He seems to have become a loathsome person but no level of duchebaggery will erase those memories.
Much deserved...was starting to worry he'd never get the knock. Career ended way too soon. Congrats 84!
I wonder if LeRoy or Shannon will do the knocking.
Nevermind.

I'll post a picture of his dick and that might change your mind.
I get first pick in a game. I take Sharpe every time over Favre.
So unbelievably happy that the dipshits didn't wait until he died.

A great moment. Torn between this and GB vs Bears "after further review, we have a reversal"
About damn time!!
When it comes to wide receivers, no team can compete with Green Bay.
Don Hutson, James Lofton, Sterling Sharpeβ¦.all in Canton, and Davante Adams will be.
