For additional psychology because the following sure are not physical issues.

How to explain his throw late in the Seattle game to the RB (I think Jones)?  He was like 3 yards away and the ball was in the dirt, off by several feet.  Similar play in the Viking game.

What is the psychology around that?

That doesn't explain his new buddy Bert.

Glad you brought this up.  Malcontents often band together, and you know Favre likely still holds MM in contempt for the "train has left the station" mentality when he and TT tossed Favre aside in 2008.  Wouldn't be surprised if he is in 12's ear talking smack about MM.

They didn't "toss Favre aside".  Favre RETIRED.  Then came crawling back looking for his job.  Then threw the organization under the bus.

In Favre's mind, they tossed him aside.

Again, Bert just recently came out in support of McVince.

Some of the speculation happening on this board right now is getting to the point of hysterics.

Gee, how quickly can a new coach make an impact?  Look no further than your Milwaukee Bucks.

And before anyone says “the Bucks aren’t in the NFL” I would argue Giannis is every much a star as Rodgers and they have talent to win.

Then there is the money angle with Rodgers which might be the dumbest thing I’ve heard.  You think that might be the problem?  I say **** you joeboo I do it myself.

CMIII is stealing.  Cobb is stealing.  Nick Perry is absolutely stealing.  Yet people pile on A Rod.  Uh OK.

It's far easier for a coach or player to make an impact in the NBA than it is in the NFL.

Rodgers has traditionally relied on great play from his receivers. Jennings, Jones, Jordy, Driver Finley, Cobb, Gmo etc. When he complains about execution, he is referring to players getting open no matter how tight the coverage. Superior play over scheme is what he expects from his receivers. If he trusts them he will throw to them even when they are covered. If he doesn’t trust them then they, most often need to be, “open”. Of course, if he has no other options he will try to throw to someone he has little trust in, like to Janis! on a Hail Mary. He has got by with unorthodox throws when his body was in tip top shape or when the adrenaline was flowing. He had an O-line that protected him for hours at a time.  But that has come back to bite him on some of the throws into the dirt. And by blanket coverages and a real pass rush. He needs more practice and in game study even when he doesn’t think he needs it. I believe there is some arrogance in his play because it has worked for him in the past. I wish we had Holmgren as OC. Holmey would not let him get away with it. Holmey don’t play dat game.

QB play is nothing without a solid OL. That's why Brady has consistently put up his stats...because he has a HC and GM who understand that fundamental concept annually. And they don't always go out and spend a gazillion dollars on FA OL...they know how to draft and develop...something TT prided himself on, and did fairly well early in his career, but his last 3 drafts brought us Spriggs, Murphy and Amichia.

Build the OL...that's why Brady consistently puts up numbers with few stars around him, and Johnny Lunchpail RB.

When you have the QB taking up that much salary cap, the rest of the roster will suffer i.e. a lot of mediocre players

So, being basically average in terms of the percentage of cap space vs the rest of the NFL means they cannot do anything but have mediocre players?

NO has the 3rd most cap dollars going towards QB. Pittsburgh 7th. NE 12th.

Seemingly, they can don't have this issue that the Packers and their 15th spot do?

Is that your position? Or were you actually not aware that GB is only 15th in cap space spent on QBs?

Mahomes looks like he has passed AR as the best QB in the league. It was a nice run, but Rodgers may be showing his age. It’s not a matter of psychology it appears to be a drop in skill. We went from a great QB known for interceptions to a great one known for lack of them. Both great and two superb owls total.

Hate to say this......but am feeling a new boyfriend in my future....he’s go 40 TD’s and how many games left???  A gawd.....and he’s what, 22?

Last year's injury seems to have had an effect on his throwing. Maybe another off season of work outs will cure that.
