When I was a youngster, my Dad bought this (used) '63 Nova station wagon.
That thing was a cockroach; it couldn't be killed.
My brother learned to drive with it, and I had my turn a couple of years after.
It was loaned to other family on occasion, sometimes for just an errand or two, other times were long-term.
It survived multiple minor accidents and a flood.

I mention all that just to say when the time finally arrived to get rid of it, he traded it for a pound of pot.

I had a guy sell me a 1971 Olds Delta 88 for $35 so he could by some weed. The car was sitting in a barn and they couldn't get it running. Took me 10 minutes to get it started. I pulled the motor to use it in my 71 Cutlass and then used the delta 88 in the demo derby with my old motor.

It is fascinating how the odds to win the division have changed with the trade and the draft.

Briefly:

While draft grades and rookie projections are irrelevant, there was a sizable move in the NFC North odds at FanDuel Sportsbook following the draft.

In odds that debuted at the start of March, the Lions were +180 to win the NFC North, followed by the Packers at +260, Vikings at +300 and Bears at +350.

About 10 days later, following the Bears’ blockbuster trade of the No. 1 overall pick and with the Aaron Rodgers trade winds blowing like a hurricane, the Lions shortened to +145, the Vikings and Bears moved to +280 and +300, respectively, and the Packers plunged to +410.

Following the draft, Green Bay is back in the No. 2 spot. The Lions remain a strong favorite at +140. They are followed by the Packers at +330, Vikings at +350 and Bears at +350.

β€œBy the tons it is coming into this country β€” the deadly, dreadful poison that racks and tears not only the body, but the very heart and soul of every human being who once becomes a slave to it in any of its cruel and devastating forms. ... Marihuana is a short cut to the insane asylum. Smoke marihuana cigarettes for a month and what was once your brain will be nothing but a storehouse of horrid specters. Hasheesh makes a murderer who kills for the love of killing out of the mildest mannered man who ever laughed at the idea that any habit could ever get him.”
