Did Desmond Howard officially retire as a Packer? I don't think so, but he came and went twice during his career. That's the only obvious candidate I can think of.

Probably some bottom of the roster guys who have come and gone multiple times.

You ain't lying sir....however....

If GW gets in that receiver room AND the QB room (like Cobb) he might become the Christian Watson of the last 8 games of 2022.

It really depends on GW and how much he is willing to work.

The Jets don't have a receiver coach?

Not sure if anyone posted this yet but Billy Turner also just signed a one year deal with the Jets. The Jets are starting to look pretty silly hiring all of Aaron's buddies.

Billy Turner and Rodgers really got along well when they were in GB together. Both super quirky guys with interests you don't usually associate with football players.

AR sounds like NY has energized him on McAfee. Split was good for both parties.

But here’s a familiar story, AR likes hanging out with his buddies at sports games and having his guys on the team. AR comfortable with guys closer to his age, understandable. Does it lead to more wins? Debatable.

Plus, he'll likely be on injured reserve for at last half the season. The preferred outcome for the Jets is for Cobb to have a minor injury that lands him on the IR so he's in the building to act as a de facto assistant WR coach but not be on the active roster to take snaps away from actual NFL caliber WRs in his current state.

This. Cobb's value as a lockerroom guy may be more than his value on the field, and Wilson, Mims and Hardman could well benefit.

The guy who might be least happy is Malik Taylor. Being kept over Whitewater Jesus was one thing, but having to be kept over Randall Cobb is another.

Billy Turner's a solid swing lineman at RT, RG and probably LG, you just don't want him at LT in the playoffs. That should be okay. They have Becton, Duane Brown and Carter Warren to shuffle in at the LT spot. Brown's a Bruce Wilkerson type if/when Becton gets hurt again and if Warren isn't ready yet.

Depends a lot on how many were made and how it grades out by a card grading service.  A 1 won't be worth much, a 10 might be.  Do a search on ebay.

For example, I have 3 Montana rookie cards, all in excellent condition.  Two aren't worth much.  I need to have the third graded to see what it might be worth.

"The hobby", as collectors call it, really blew up since covid.  The best cards skyrocketed but there is also a flood of supply.  Most cards post-1979 are considered "junk wax" and aren't really worth anything unless you have one of the few that are or a special issue, etc.

There is much more to this than I really know about.  Ask google.

Excellent breakdown of the state of the hobby. However, be careful, The Stasi reads all posts and corrects them as needed.

Jets fans have sky high expectations right now, but if they start out slow pressure is going to build fast and 8 no showing parts of the OTA's is going to be the first thing the ugly, irrational side of that fan base starts harping on.  If he's as smart as everyone tells us he is he'd prioritize being there for everything.

Rodgers needs 33 TDs to pass Favray, and 64 to catch Manning in the career passing TDs list. He's sitting at # 5 All Time right now

Oh I'm certain he doesn't want either of those records. 😁

They say change is good sometimes. But seeing Rodgers all giddy and looking like a grown up instead of a high school drop out makes me wonder if his act the last few years was his way of saying "trade me" without actually saying it.

I couldn't help myself and took a peek on ebay.  It's ridiculous.  There are maybe a dozen different makes of football cards that have an AR rookie.  They value from a couple bucks to thousands of dollars.  Perfect example.

Rodgers is re-energized by having hurt feelings. Call it a chip on his shoulder or whatever, but when he feels disrespected is when he performs his best. The fact that the FO didn't call for every little thing, they didn't kiss his butt on players or get who he wanted, they drafted competition, etc., all led to him feeling like he was being dissed. It's no wonder he got two MVPs after they drafted Love. It won't be surprising if he plays better this year. He's giddy and motivated by wanting to stick it to the FO this year, and the Jets are bending to his every will. Without that type of motivation, Rodgers probably would have retired.

agree - but that chip on his shoulder did nothing to get him any wins that counted against the 49'ers when we needed it.  not so certain his 'chips' have served him well.  It will be refreshing to not continually have this added 'drama' to the team.

I find it interesting Rodgers cleaned up his act before going to New York. Rebranding for Jets and post-football life. Thankfully, I’ve been able to resist the Rodgers media blitz but I did listen to his McAfee appearance. Honeymoon phase in full affect.  Now that he’s not a Packer I get a feel for what it’s like seeing him from the other fans point of view. 🙄

The "chips" probably add to the pressure he feels during the playoffs, where he always plays tight. Going by that, the Jets will make it to the AFCCG and Rodgers will crash and burn again.

But if Rodgers has a chip on his shoulder and feels reinvigorated, what happens when other players don't play up to those standards?  This will be an interesting season for him, but I'm more concerned with how the Packers do.

How much weed do you need?

When I was a youngster, my Dad bought this (used) '63 Nova station wagon.
That thing was a cockroach; it couldn't be killed.
My brother learned to drive with it, and I had my turn a couple of years after.
It was loaned to other family on occasion, sometimes for just an errand or two, other times were long-term.
It survived multiple minor accidents and a flood.

I mention all that just to say when the time finally arrived to get rid of it, he traded it for a pound of pot.
