There's a two part documentary on Tiger on HBO. I think it came out this year or late last year. They interview people that knew him before and after he became a living golf legend. Really tells you a lot about the way he deals with people away from the camera and I'd put about 90% of this on his upbringing. You could be a really close friend of this guy (or at least think you are) and the moment that friendship becomes a conflict for him you are ghosted.

Here is a youtube, 1 hour, story of the rise and fall of Tiger Woods.

After watching the HBO trailer for the documentary PackerHawk referred to, the comeback part was part of the HBO documentary but missing in the show I linked to above.

Well worth watching. Really good.

Tiger transfered to Cedars Sinai.  It is a bettter sports oriented recovery center.

It's also a well known celeb's hospital. Pretty much anyone who's well known in Hollywood, politics, music, etc. goes there.

Apparently no charges will be filed.

Going 83-85 in a 45 zone.  Down hills and all of it.  Let’s just say if you’re going to haul ass up down and around winding hills in So Cal you might want something a lower profile than an SUV.  25 years ago when I was out there people raced the canyons all the time but usually sport bikes.

no probable cause to check cell phone to see if he was texting at time of crash  no probable cause to draw blood to test for drugs/alcohol. yeah right

I guess rich & powerful people with rich & powerful lawyers have a different threshold for "probable cause" than your average schmoe. In my next life, I'm definitely going to focus more on becoming rich & powerful. ( probably)

On the other hand, if you do crash thru the guard rail and roll down an embankment, driving an upscale SUV may seem like the one good choice you made that day.

He was driving a promotional car from one of the Golf tournament sponsors and all of the initial accident reports were sure to mention it:

AP Wire: "Tiger woods was involved in a serious rollover accident in his 2021 Genesis GV80 XLT with leather seats, surround sound and the high performance package including moonroof, bluetooth and improved traction control; call your Genesis dealer today ! Tiger was injured, but not as seriously as he could have been hurt  if he weren't driving the Genesis GV80 XLT deluxe with added air bags, sport trim, premium mud flaps and a 14 inch touch screen center console in 2-tone metallic grey. That's nothing.  If you're the attorney general in South Dakota, you can swerve out of your lane, hit and kill a man, and the sheriff will give you his car to drive home that night and not bother doing any toxicology or blood work until the next day.

With Michelin tires, model XGV, size 75R14...

Look, I’ve owned several SUVs and just like large pickup trucks it doesn’t seem to stop some people from driving like complete a holes thinking they are safe because “they are bigger”

You lose it and you actually have less control over those vehicles.  It’s like a higher center of gravity type thing ya know.  Hence all the manufacturer warnings that a lot of people simply ignore.

My favorite was back in the day in the TWC middle of winter it’s snowing and some tool in a Suburban going way too fast on the freeway loses it and pinballs 3 other vehicles along the way before crashing himself.  Might have been Jaymo leaving the creature comforts of Anoka for all I know.  Was following behind and saw it all unfold.

I'm working on doing that in THIS life....and if it happens, I'm taking you along for the ride. So buckle up little camper.

I’m pretty certain this spells the end of Woods professional golfing career.  That’s a brutal injury for someone that relies on their legs and wheels to make a living.

In his first extensive interview since a February car crash, Tiger Woods said his hope is to return to competitive golf, but that he never expects to compete again at the highest level.

"I think something that is realistic is playing the Tour one day -- never full-time ever again -- but pick and choose, just like Mr. [Ben] Hogan did," Woods said during a Zoom interview with Golf Digest. "Pick and choose a few events a year and you play around that.

His professional golf career is over. Dude is nine months from a major car accident and he still walks funny…not to mention how many back surgeries?

He may play the occasional tournament (he can play the Masters as long as he wants because he’s a former champion), but his days of playing competitive golf on any given Sunday are over.

Not a fan, but golf is way more interesting when he is in the mix.  Hope he is relevant on Sunday

Not a fan of his at all but I will say when he plays it is WAY more interesting.  But at the same time the constant ball washing by the media when it comes to him gets really old to me.
