Best way to defend Ryan is to disrupt Julio. In playoff game Ryan was getting the ball out so quickly to his first read that Reggie White could not have gotten to him. As LeRoy Butler said in his Silverstein video, they have to get their hands on Julio on the outside & knock him off his route on shallow crosses. Can not play 8 yards off / or whiff on jam.

Good! At least he won't be covering Julio on Sunday Night. Hopefully we have SOMEONE that can at least keep up with him.

But....he'll be covering him twice a year. Good luck bro.

Packers are ranked #1 right now in the lame ass "Power Rankings." Only 1 way I know of to keep that ranking.

Kick the living hell outta Atlanta on Sunday Night, then go eat a Chick-Fil-A on Monday.

Well, I made the mistake of getting concert tickets for Sunday night before I knew the Pack would have the night game!  Oh well, less stress...I'll just be enjoying Apocalyptica.

Interesting read on new OLB Chris Odom

Imagine being a HS QB in 2012 walking to the line. On one side at OLB is Chris Odom. On the other side at OLB is Myles Garrett. Good luck with that.

Sounds like Quinn really wanted to stash him somewhere and keep him.

Hope Odom makes Quinn wish he tried harder Sunday night.

When I watched the schedule reveal I said it would be entirely possible to start 0-2. There were a lot of question marks going into the off-season, but the draft helped out a bit.

So we're going to open another stadium for a team, which is never fun ( I was there last year, it was awful).  The good news is that our run defense looks pretty solid. The bad news is that the Falcons are pass heavy, and do it well. I think the Packers are going to have to rush a lot and play a ton of zone D in the secondary to keep them in check.

We have to go up first and hold it.

Bryan Bulaga is back after missing two days with his illness. He's feeling better but he still has hurdles with his ankle to get over.

Rob Demovsky, ESPN Staff Writer

Jumping hurdles with a bum ankle doesn't seem like a good idea.  That's a training staff fail.

Today's injury reports. ATL coming in a lot healthier.

@TomSilverstein: Bakhtiari, Bulaga, Brice, Daniels and M. Adams are questionable. Ahmad Brooks is doubtful.

Remember, the Probable designation is gone. Gotta believe coaches like this.

"Questionable" designates a player who is uncertain to play. "Doubtful" means the player is unlikely to play, and "out" means the player will not play.

The league eliminated the "probable" category in part because about 95% of the players who were listed under that designation ended up participating in a game.

My guess is Bak and Brice go. Daniels goes on a snap count. Brooks and Bulaga are out. Odoms and Dial are activated.

One of these days I'd love to get Atlanta in Atlanta with all hands on deck.

Clay and Nick are going to have to show up in a big way again.

Explosive diarrhea a blessing? Who woulda thunk...

-- Bryan Bulaga may have discovered a new remedy for a sprained ankle: the stomach flu.

The Green Bay Packers right tackle spent most of this week at home recovering from his illness, which meant he didn't put any unnecessary stress on the right ankle injury that kept him out of last week's regular-season opener.

"The ankle is getting better," Bulaga said Friday. "As time passes, I feel like it's getting stronger, it's getting better. So kneeling on the ground, throwing up might've helped it."

That could be good news for his availability on Sunday, when the Packers play at the Atlanta Falcons.

"Didn't have a setback," he said. "[The injury occurred] only three weeks [ago] from Wednesday, so I don't think I've had a setback. I felt like we had pretty steady progression. When it happened, I just had a ton of swelling. More swelling than I've had in a sprained ankle. So it was the fact of trying to push all that swelling out, and the amount of time that we had just to get it ready from moving and seeing the trainers, having the trainers see me move and my feedback with them and Dr. [Pat] McKenzie. They just decided -- not really me, more them -- they kind of decided just probably that week wouldn't be ready to go."

Coach Mike McCarthy said Friday that he probably won't have a feel for Bulaga's status until Sunday because he hasn't practiced yet this week.

At least the flu seems to be behind Bulaga.

Apparently, Atlanta fans just want to watch the other type of football? Can't believe that crummy sports town is putting up those kinds of numbers.
