Hopefully Boyle and Kumerow sees more time with non scrubs.

No matter what happens from here on out, there will be 15 posts during every regular season game commenting on how Kumerow needs to be playing more/shouldn't have been cut/should be activated off the practice squad. The guy is obviously not a joke. I'm not sure he can separate from starting CBs, but if you are playing with Rodgers, you don't need much separation. You just need to be assignment sure with some talent.

And, this is different from any Packer forum?

I'd be more than happy if Doyle took every snap the rest of presesason.  He lived up to the hype, maybe exceeded it.  Pre-season normally really sucks, but he might make these games worth watching.   They really found a diamond in the rough there.... if he gets even so much as a hangnail, stash him on IR for the year.

I think he'll strain a hamstring at some point if that's the case.

That's why they need to find out.  Being great in TC and 3rd string pre-season games means nothing (or 1's if you're Hundley).  I want to see these guys put through the ringer.  I don't think it's a reach to have a guy like Boyle as a 3rd over Hundley to see how you can shape the kid.  Hundley is at his limit and that limit sucks.

Kumerow is solid but Scantling is the real deal IMO.

The refs certainly are making themselves known in this game.  Hard to enjoy the game with all the stoppages for penalties.  Count me in as one that thinks Kizer looks more natural as a QB than Hundley.  He's no superstar, but I think there's more to work with.

To be fair, it's preseason.  The refs have to practice their suck, too.

Scantling looked really good.  So did Kumerow.  Guys played hard and took advantage of the reps.  Not blown away by the other WRs like Moore and Yancey and St. Brown.

Doyle was impressive.   Made some nice throws.  Hundley looked better than I expected but neither he nor Kizer stood out IMO.

Tough to judge the D with all the backups and vanilla schemes but I thought Josh Jackson in particular did well.
