We had more starters on D on the bench than they had O starters on the bench. And over half of our O starters were on the bench, I doubt half their D starters were benched.
Yeah, that was a little too "homer" as written.
More like a local beat reporter as opposed to an AP writer.

Burks ran step for step with the TE on a seam route then peeled off and ran down the WR on Rollins screw up in coverage.
Hes got a lot to learn to be a good ILB in the NFL but speed certainly isnât a concern.

Biegel was 5 yards up field.
Hawk would've been 5 yards down field.

Burks does have a lot to learn, but as you both note if and when he "learns" the position he has the physical tools to be a real asset in the middle.
With linebackers like Ryan, Hawk and so many others we've seen in Green Bay they could be the best "learners" or most "assignment sure" guys ever and they still lacked the speed to play the position well.
Thank goodness heâs got Moss to coach him up. Time for a cocktail.
It's always a good time for a drink.
Especially if it leads to more drunken rants from Brak.
Yesterday's news, I know. But I finally got to watch the replay of the game, though NFLN cut out 8:00 of the second quarter so I missed Moore's dropsies.
I don't know how many starters TEN had out on O but we could not handle their run game in the 1Q. At all. All kinds of problems filling gaps and even making tackles. Doug Fluellen looked like OJ and he could have a backup plan with Judge Wopner if he doesn't make their 53.
I was impressed with the few carries I saw Williams run. He seems a little more sudden in his moves and always runs with power. Other than that our backup RB's look like every other 31 teams' backup RB's.
The young WR's looked good but other than Exxon's contested catch in the EZ, I thought their catches were all fairly benign. It's great they're getting open though. 83 and 19 look as wirey as Geranimo did as a rook. All legs and arms. Davante is entering his peak years.
I was trying to be somehow relieved after watching our QB's but after watching some other games this weekend, they remind me of all the other backup QB's in the league. They can make some good decisions and throws but not consistently.
Jackson and Burks showed some maturity in their play that was very encouraging. Ha Ha finally stopped laughing. Mount Adams showing signs of some good things too.

How about a Greer Martini?
I don't trust anyone by that name playing inside. Sounds like a cannonball run character. Capt Chaos on the other hand...
