How long will MLF keep Drayton hanging before cutting him loose. I would say tomorrow, but part of me thinks he's too nice to make Drayton a scapegoat and waits till emotions die down a bit.

I've read before the how the Packers (and I assume all other teams) conduct their end of season procedures with players and staff.
I'd further assume they wouldn't start until Monday morning, and would begin with the players.
No idea how long all this takes, but I'm sure it's less than a week; likely just 2-3 days. I'm hoping for an announcement by the end of this week, but won't hold my breath.
Could be as early as this afternoon when MLF addresses the media.
Let's just hope his replacement is NOT currently employed as an assistant Special Teams coach with the Packers or has ever previously been employed by the Packers in such a capacity.

I think the professional and correct thing to do is to ask him to leave today.
He's nicer than I would be. I would have told him he'd have to find his own way back to GB. And by the way, you're fired. In reality, there's probably a high level meeting that includes MILF's review, and a mid level meeting for MLF to evaluate the coaching staff. Not only does Mo need to go, but I would fire all the ST coaches and staff. It needs a gutting and a restart. Take the time and spend the money to get a good ST coordinator, and let that person hire the coaches and staff. I don't want that new coordinator to feel pressure to keep any of the current coaches.
And tell Muphy to butt the hell out, and tell Ballz to sign the damn check.

So tired of the "classy" Packer organization promoting from within when it is undeserved.
Everyone associated with that abomination of a STs unit needs to go unless they can make a compelling case as to why they were not in any way culpable.
And for Christ's sake, actually devote some attention and resources/$ to the STs for the first time since Holmgren and Wolf were in charge in GB.
Assuming that coaches are paid monthly then if Drayon makes it to Tuesday he will collect February's monthly salary.
Might tune in, for once, to watch a bit of the pro bowl just to see what disasters happen on NFC special Teams.

I'd like to know how the guy would even still be alive after getting caught.
The Pack lost the 2020 NFC Championship game on January 24, 2021.
Mennenga was fired less than a week later on January 27, 2021.
Pack lost to the 49ers in the 2022 playoffs on January 22.
Drayton is still with the team as of January 30.

yep, we are starting to see stupid tendencies from mlf - he needs to be the dad and fire that guy, he was a big piece to shit st all year, not just in the playoffs. mlf will be shortening the noose real bad with the fan base on this one...

If MLF doesn’t get rid of Drayton, it’s going to be at at the risk of his career. Especially if the same problems happen next year.
Lafleur has to fill his coaching staff that was raided and figure out how to not play prevent offense
Maybe the only thing I’ll cut Drayton some slack for is that the Pack’s ST has been bad for so many years, maybe it’s something beyond him that needs to be fixed. I feel like he should be terminated from his position, but maybe LaFleur has decided to give him 1 more shot. I don’t agree with it, but I’ll root for Drayton to turn things around given a 2nd chance.

Yeah.. I'm getting nervous. I really liked MLF, but keeping Mo is worse than MM waiting until SEA to fire the Coordinator. SEA just happened, lets go Mathew.

Well, since Steno was hired as OC, I have to assume the coaches have now all been interviewed…and Drayton is still here. REALLY disappointed in MLF. Even more so than I am of Drayton. It’s not even an emotional response that Drayton sucks at coaching, period. You can tell it was Drayton. The interviews, the scheme errors, the mental errors, everything. I have lost a lot of respect for MLF. Drayton might be the most incompetent coaching hire in NFL history. Keeping him is the biggest coaching fail in NFL history. MLF deserves what he gets, on top of his coaching chokes in big games that he apologizes for, but never fixes. Oh yeah, that’ll never happen again, and then it does again and again.. I thought he did a great job holding the team together through injuries, but scratching my head as he’s failed so bad in big games and coaching decisions. Maybe we can hire him as Rah Rah coordinator, and find a head coach who has balls.
