Does this really surprise anyone? Our ST has been fkn pathetic over a decade. And we're the most penalized ST in the league this year. You can only hope MLF holds his buddies accountable  

Some of the issue is salary cap related. When you have one guy eating up a significant portion of the cap and then more for his buddies it is going to affect what you have left for quality special teamers.  You have to make do with bottom of the barrel special teamers.  This will change.

Time period of bad special teams strongly suggests it's an organizational cultural issue.

Perhaps we could put the special teams rankings alongside the average age rankings of the team during those years.
