I had to listen to the game on the Packers' Radio Network and couldn't get any streams to work. +++ Watson gets 2 more TDs; we beat the Bears!; Dillon sounded like he had a good game.----Packers' Radio Network's halftime announcer going around to other league games, played a clip of Paul Allen calling a viking TD. We do not need to air any vikings' plays or have Paul Allen on the Packers' Radio Network, ever, as they screw Packers fans, whenever they can.

Is that why he can't keep a girlfriend?

Ah, what does not keeping his girlfriends have to do with ANYTHING????     Sorry, just not getting that.  Oh, and it’s Sunday, so NOT smoking ok??  😂

- Jaire Alexander on what he thought after giving up that 56-yard catch to former teammate Equanimeous St. Brown: "Nothing. Man, he a scrub. I can’t believe I let him catch that on me. But hat’s off to him because he did make a good catch."

Not as critical of Berry for this game.  If Nixon had not left his jock strap on the field, Justin Fields would not have had the 55 yard run, he would have tackled for a loss.  The run D did a good job on Montgomery and the other runs by Fields.   Not getting a sack and 20 completions on 25 attempts is more concerning.

Dillon was outstanding.   Lazard was very good as was Watson.

LOL Alexander has been a huge disappointment this year.  Calling an opponent a scrub?

I saw the replay ESB beat his ass badly.  He made a good catch?  No, he made you look really stupid.  23 has had that happen more this year than all other years combined.  Good news is like Rasual he can still talk a lot of shit. But at least both guys got paid.

If someone offered the Packers a 1st rounder for Alexander I’d take it immediately.

Disappointing to hear him trash ESB.  Pretty classless.

Fuck the salary cap.

I’m too damn old to cheer for punks like Alexander. Class and sportsmanship is not a function of age or anything else. He’s a diva and a crybaby. Too many more like him on the Packers and I’m gonna retire to the Hallmark channel.

I wonder how much not having having Adams beating their ass all training camp made our DBs think they are good ....they sure act like they are a lot better than they have been playing all year.

From what I read, Doubs beat them quite a bit. The Packers media interpreted it as Doubs being better than expected. Of course, the same guys were parroting the company line about how good Tyler Davis was going to be.

Two hardest things in life to deal with are failure and success ... looking more and more like Alexander has not handled success well .... he is turning into a punk.

Jaire wouldn't be that much to move on from. He's got a 20 million dollar cap hit and the dead cap for moving him would be 24 million (less than that if they traded him and managed the June 1st date in a way to split it over two years)

With Rodgers and Bakh, they literally couldn't field a team.

What if we win out?

We can win out and are still sub-35% to make the playoffs. The amount of help needed to get in makes it effectively impossible--especially now that the Seahawks won today.

This means that the Packers will win out, screw up their draft position, not fire any coaches, keep most of the same personnel, and come back with the same system next year minus a 1 or 2 high salary cap players because: "We saw a lot of promise at the end of the season with what this group can do, and we're going to go in strong this (2023) year with those same guys."

Agreed 100%. I’m quickly growing tired of Jaire’s bullshit. Sounds like he started believing his own press.

Man, just shut your mouth, and play the damn game. Stop trashing opposing players, and fix your attitude. You represent the Green Bay Packers in everything you do.

And by the way-that “scrub” receiver made you look foolish on national television.

Aaron Jones is only two years older than Jaire, yet he exudes class everywhere he goes. “Yes, sir. No, sir.” I believe his father was military, no? It shows..

A person either has class, or they don’t. And that really doesn’t come with age. It’s instilled in you growing up.

It’s a hell of s lot easier to cheer for Aaron Jones than it is for Jaire. Not only does Jones have more class, he has a much better work ethic. Jaire has been half assing it for weeks. Aaron Jones gives his all on every play, without exception.

Jaire can either get it together, or he can be gone.

I agree with everything said in the last couple of hours in this thread (after the Aaron is gay joke that went waaaay over Goldie’s head). Jaire is sounding like a low-character person, and there’s no room for that in this organization.

You old grumpy bastards.  How is Jaire a low character person.  Give me one example of being low character?   He plays with ultra confidence, that’s it.

Now cite your sources of this kid being low character……

Never said he had low character .... just said he is starting to act like a punk on the field. Marked difference in his body language / verbiage that doesn't look good especially paired with a decline in performance from previous seasons.

I actually like that he has an attitude.  When was the last Packer defensive player on this team that played with a that attitude?  Not too many of them that's for sure.

Positives:

We beat the Bears and have the all time wins in NFL history.  Which is crazy to me.  As I always say it doesn't matter what the  score was they won.

Negatives:

I was travelling for work yesterday so I didn't get to watch the game.  Don't they understand it was a Bears game?

@PackLandVA posted:

I was on a Bears board I’ve been going to forever, and their fans think Jaire’s comment was tongue in cheek, like ribbing a former teammate.

This strikes me as much more likely than Jaire taking a cheap and unnecessary shot at a former teammate. Guy gambled on three plays and won on the one when it really mattered.  Not his best game or year but don't think he really deserves much of the negativity I'm seeing here.

How about you cite a post that specifically impugned his character? He acts like a spoiled punk. You have eyes.

It actually costs the Packers less on the cap to cut Bakh than to keep him next year. His dead cap if they cut him is a lot (23 million) but his cap charge if he's on the team is 29 million.

You can get a stopgap Billy Turner type veteran tackle for less than 6 million a year.

That wasn't the point. People are saying to get rid of Alexander. There are also people saying to get rid of Rodgers. Bakh is another hit to the cap. You combine all 3 and there is no money left.

Well he surely won't be a Packer in 2024.   Cap hit nearly $33 million.  Dead cap $11.5 million.
