I'm slightly older than you and I have no issue with Jaire running his mouth.

Does that mean I'm awoke? Isn't that what the kids say these days?

I'm younger and much better looking than Keel and I hope Jaire never stops running his mouth.

Now what he said about ESB did cross a line if he was in fact being serious. Since he's apologized I guess he wasn't trying to be funny.

This ranks up there with some of the dumbest shit I've seen on the boards.  The NFL has four premium positions; QB, LT, CB and Edge.  Teams are continuously drafting those positions high hoping to hit on a guy that sticks.  GB happens to have a young elite CB in Alexander and some of you dumdums want to ship him down the road... because attitude.

Most of you dipshits couldn't lead a pack of ants to a picnic yet you have all the answers on how to run an NFL franchise.

Jesus fuck.

What? You don't want to trade one of the best 3-4 players on the entire team in the middle of their prime years? Why not?

Normally I'd agree this is some top tier dumb shit but considering the source I'm not sure it even ranks in his top ten. Clown shoes strikes again!

He diced up the Packers secondary until he pooped his pants at the end of the game. He's 1.5 seasons into his career. Their offense needs more talent at WR and some regularity and continuity from their coach. The big question is whether or not they can coach the poopy pants out of him.  Plenty of arm and leg talent.  Can his head harness it all?

Well, what can this objective Bears fan say? You won. Again. Congrats and here's to a long overdue bye week.

1. I still truly believe in Fields and am curious to see what you all think?

2. If you get mathematically eliminated would you all like to see Love play? He looked decent a few weeks ago.

I don’t think Fields has a bright future in the NFL.    Still making poor choices and inaccurate throws.    He is not or ever will be in the same class as Burrow, Herbert, Allen, Maholmes.    He is a poor man’s Lamar Jackson at best.

Yes, when, not if, eliminated would Love to see Love play a couple games.

Fields is a spectacular athlete but he’s got a long ways to go as a passer to truly be the answer for the Bears.  He seems to be a good enough guy and he’s pretty bright so he seems like a guy that will put in the work to get better.

I came into this year feeling like the Bears had less skill position talent than any other team in the NFL.  They are slightly better off than I thought though.  Herbert is a really good complement to Fields and they definitely missed him vs. the Pack.

That said, Fields needs a lot more help.  At WR Mooney and Claypool are okay but they really could stand to have a true #1 WR to help Fields out.

The way I understand it, the Bears have the cap room to give Fields some more help.  So maybe with a couple more explosive playmakers to complement Fields, maybe it can allow him to develop more.  He’s only 23 so he deserves a couple more years to show he can jump a couple notches in terms of his pocket passing ability.

From the Bears standpoint, they almost have no choice but to give him a couple more years to prove himself since they sacrificed a number of draft picks to get him.

I don't have too much faith in Fields becoming a franchise-type of guy. He still doesn't read the field very well, and his legs are more of a weapon than his arm.  While that can win you a lot of games (see Lamar), it doesn't often win you Superb Owls. While Fields doesn't have a ton of talant surrounding him, I'm not sure he has it in his head to be a really good QB.

Yes, please, I want to see Love play. He looked good the last time out, so let's find out if it was a mirage or if he can be the next QB to lead this team. In his last outing, he looked vastly improved as far as confidence, the throws he made, and his decisions. (The pass that Jones dropped was a good example of a tough throw that had to be put in a certain spot.) Let him start the rest of the year and see what he's got for real.

Classy congratulations, Objective! Great rivalry.

He will keep developing and he will improve his own game as well as getting more talent around him.  Right now it does look like he is more Lamar than Mahomes but it's still a small sample size.  He has more arm talent than Lamar but I don't know if his decision making will eventually be better.  As far as his accuracy, he does sail or skip his share of passes but he has also hit some really tight windows downfield.  Other than the last couple minutes Sunday, he had a better game than AR, with a worse receiving corps vs. a better D.   A couple of those deep balls he completed were really poorly played by our DB's but that's true for almost any QB.  I really hope his ceiling is lower but I think we'll get a better read next season.

I think everyone wants to see more of the brotherly Love we saw vs. PHI but unless AR gets dinged some more, we probably won't see much more of him.  My preference would be to play him the rest of the season.
