Probably their worst loss of the season to this point
New York is a good tean but the Bucks were never really in this one
Nice recovery from a couple of bad losses against NYK and the Wolves this past week.
Jennings hits the big 3pt shot near the end and Sanders had 16 boards and 5 blocks.
That's now two wins against the Celts, and I don't think they had two wins against Boston in the three previous seasons.

Good win last night that they really needed. They played San Antonio tough for most of the game but couldn't pull it out.
Yep, it was a nice win.. here's to them pulling one out in Brooklyn tonight..
Larry Sanders is just enormous, him and Udoh are quite a tandem defensively.
Fat Sam, Aka Samuel "I ate another person" Dalembert has said that his time at the Bucks is not working. He seems like he is ready to be traded.

If those two guys continue to play well then Dalembert will likely get traded. He is in the last year of his deal I think.
Solid win by the Bucks on the road against Brooklyn
The score looked close but it really wasn't that close. Ellis and Jennings probably played their best game of the season. They got to the line 30 times and that was a big difference because they got outrebounded by a large margin
Back above .500

Not having Dalembert in the mix is not a good thing, I don't know why we are dismissing that.
Tough to finish over .500 without Dalembert contributing IMO, Sanders and Udoh are both 4's. Ilyasova and Luc-Ric with have to start having consistently productive games.
gonna be interesting how it shakes out.

Dalembert is nowhere near as productive defensively as Udoh/Sanders. Fat Sam tends to just give them the big Ole if he cant get the block. Im not saying he cant be decent, im saying on the Bucks.. he just wont try to be.
He's like Gooden, but to a lesser degree. Dead man walking with Delusions of excellence.

A couple of more good wins this week.
And another on the road in Cleveland tonight. 4 in a row now and in first place. With the younger big men in the lineup and Ersan producing off the bench, and Ellis getting 33, is solid road win. 12-9... decent.
What is encouraging is that their first 15-18 games were pretty tricky yet they hung in there. Their schedule is opening up a bit this week so hopefully they can continue their momentum.
Tonight's game should be fun to watch, I just wish the Bucks were healthy. The Clippers bench is deep and could be the difference. Also interested in how Jennings competes with Chris Paul
Well, that was a buzzkill. It looked from the start the Bucks were on the short end of the "back to back" stick which is really kind of annoying the way the NBA schedules these games.
The Clips last game was Wednesday and Milwaukee played last night and it really showed. Milwaukee probably had their worst shooting game of the year so the final score probably adds up.
LA is 17-6. That other LA team

Nice to see the Bucks get the win last night but tonight they go into Memphis....Ugh! Maybe they can keep it close and steal it at the end???
Bucks playing well against the Heat. A tale of two quarters. Rough 3rd quarter shooting but they've heated up in the 4Q.
Best 4th quarter they've had this year considering the opponent and 3rd quarter they had.
Nice win. Go Bucks !
Nice win. Go Bucks !
Caught the Heat on the second of a two game set, but still....
When did LMAM become such an offensive weapon?
Strong team win tonight, hopefully a big confidence builder. Like to see them go on a roll and really string a few together.

Congrats on a nice convincing win over the Heat. I am sure this caught people's attention. Maybe your Bucks are for real this year.
I am sure it has to feel good.

For whatever reason the Bucks have played really well against the Heat the last couple of years. I think last year they took 3 of 4 from Miami and this year they've blown them out in one game and lost in OT at their place earlier this year.
The Bucks have usually struggled with Boston and Chicago but this year they are 4-2 against those guys.
The Bucks have some bad losses mixed in there against the better teams in the West (two ugly losses against Memphis, one against SA and a blowout loss against the Clippers) but they have been competitive against some of the better teams in the league. Only the Knicks and Atlanta and Chicago have a better conference record than the Bucks against the East.
Time will tell but this is a pretty good team when they can shoot the ball OK. They are still prone to having some clunkers offensively but this team creates a lot of turnovers and steals on D and their rebounding is significantly better than it has been.

Like clockwork
They beat up on Miami and then lose to a terrible Detroit team

Jennings AND Ellis are FA's after the season yes????? Who would you rather keep? I would rather we try to resign Ellis.....would he stick around???
Glad to see Boylan sticking with Ersan and also giving Henson some more playing time. Having Udrih back is a boost as well, 7 dishes today. Seem to have that Wisconsin sports habit of playing down to our opponents (e.g. Pistons), but better today.
He is young but I agree on Henson. They need to keep playing him
are they any better than an 8th seed? Streaky shooters and where is the Center??
I think they lose one if not both of their guards this off season. Whats up with Henson?

They have an improving interior and both Gs are likely gone. Henson is quite solid and Sanders is improving tremendously.
Henson and Sanders are have been impressive as young players. The Bucks just need to determine (long term) who their guards are going to be. Jennings is having a good year but it's also a contract year. I don't think Ellis will choose to stay in Milwaukee.
I was my son's age (13) when the Bucks last won in PHX.
They just seem to struggle on the road at certain place. Good to see them break the streak.
Denver is another place Milwaukee does not play well (historically)

Hey, the Bucks beat Portland last night!
Bucks are currently 21-18 and will be no worse than .500 at the midway point. Currently the 7 seed. 5.5 games behind the 1 seed, 3 behind the Central leaders.
I think they can/should be better than they are but they are currently on pace for 44ish wins. I was hoping for 46-48 which would put them in play for the 5/6 seeds. Avoiding the 8 seed is pretty important this season, Miami will be a ridiculous out. Everything else is winnable in the East in rd. 1.

22-18 now. I wonder what the deal was- Ilyasova was benched, and just couldn't snap out of it with Skiles. Boyland inserts him back and he starts doing what he did last year, and now they're 6-2. Was Skiles too overbearing, and not letting these kids play? Was it that simple?
The other guy that is benefitting is John Henson. You can see that while he is young and might be a little raw he has a lot of ability and energy so why not play him more often?
I have no reason why Ersan got limited as much as he did earlier this year. He should have been playing more as well.

2 things I've seen:
1) Jimmy Boylan is letting them play, almost playground for BJ and MEllis and with regular rotations.
2) Jimmy Boylan knows how/when to call a timeout. Really like how he has used them during the course of a game. Rest, stopping a run, whatever ... he has changed flows at times.
Gonna be interesting to see how this turns out for marquette warrior jimmy Boylan (that ones for you Al Mac).

No All Stars again this year...
are you surprised by this? none should be on it
Not surprised at all by no Bucks being selected.
I'd rather they win 45-50 games and make the playoffs than send someone to a meaningless exhibition

No- not surprised. And I am getting frustrated by Jennings' view of himself. He mentions "franchise player", bleats about how he'll be like Carmelo when he is a FA. I loved Hammond's response to that- let me know when your at that level.
It really is time for this team to keep building. Jennings could be part of that, but not if thinks he's a Franchise player now. He's going to be looking for a $75-80M deal, and ain't worth half that.

amen to that ... tonight is 1 of those nights when you get reminded why you do not over pay BJ, he can not stop a good opposing PG on most nights. He might score with them a lot but he can't stop them on top.
Up 20 in the 3rd and they are gonna lose to the Cavs ... guards shot the team to a loss.
No post go to guy cost them tonight.

Kyrie Irving... All Star, 12/17 from the field, 35 points.
Brandon Jennings, 5-19, fouled out, Bucks blow a game where they lead by double digits most of the game.
Case closed...

The bottom line is that Jennings is just too damn inconsistent
One night he'll score 35 and look awesome, the next night he'll score 12 points and shoot 25% from the field.
I'd love to see his numbers against sub .500 teams. It seems like he only gets motivated to play well against good teams.
