Getting the ball out of Rodgers' hands quickly, sure helps v. strong pass rush. Having said that the OL is looking great.
If this St. Louis D is as good as NFL talking heads say they are, there are 13 teams in the NFL that need to be very very afraid.

This no-huddle offense looks deadly. The OL looked really, really sharp. Tretter is looking damn good. Loved seeing Rodgers have a good 8+ seconds sitting back in a clean pocket and finding Quarless for a 33 yard reception
Lot to like from what we saw today from the 1's, both offensively and defensively. DL was consistently winning vs the Rams OL.
Dix had an opportunity to break on that ball/receiver and deliver a pop. He stood there and watched instead.

Once again I know its just preseason but the defense looks the same as last year
I though the secondary was a strength this year?

No they don't. Not even close. Last year's DL played patty-cake with the O-Line. They're getting pressure now & they'll get better. Opposing offensive lines won't have a clue what to do with Peppers & Clay with Daniels inside. Can't double everyone.
We also saw why Bakh is out starting LT & Sherrod isn't. Man Eugene Sims kicked his ass! Bakh completely neutralized Robert Quinn
Sherrod was terrible in that series. Yikes.
Run defense looked really good. Secondary not so much. Datone gets manhandled by bigger men.
