The secondary gaffes today have been player based, not scheme.  Shields gambled on a ball and lost, giving up a big play, then gets beat down the sideline.  Hyde not looking particularly strong either.  I don't think anyone is claiming gloom and doom but guys getting beat is guys getting beat.  Not good to see but none of it matters. Ammiright ammiright?

What I learned in the 1st half...if the offense stays reasonably healthy, they may very well be the best in the league. Offensive line in particular is very impressive. I wasn't as down on EDS as some here, but it sure seems like going with Tretter was a great call by TT/MM so far.

I really hope nothing happens to Bakhtiari or Bulaga either. Sherrod looked god awful today. He looked better in the opener, so maybe today is just a bad day. I hope so.

Starks pisses me off sometimes. 2 runs on the second drive had potential to be great runs, but he doesn't see the cut. The one in particular- he slide steps outside and there's no defender for 20 yards. Just a reminder that great RBs are hard to come by. The mental side is the hardest to get, and average backs leave tons of yards on the field.

It's going to be tough on all secondaries across the league this year.

Play within the scheme & play the ball. Don't be a hero & try to make the spectacular play. Just get off the field & get the ball back to that offense. Let the offense take over.

I'll take that bet.  Harris looks to be set, even with the fumble.

Agreed. Don't see any way the RB group isn't Lacy/Starks/Harris. That trio looks damn strong as well.
