It might sound a little more credible if he hadn't fuked up the position for the last decade. ILB has been TT's Achilles Heal.

That Super Bowl was a real embarassment.

So we won a SB with ILBs weren't that good and we still won. We're still getting a lot of pressure from Matthews and Peppers ain't too shabby either. Top 10
In sacks in 2014 even with crappy ILBs.

1.  They don't post for almost 4 months, and then when they do, it's to crap all over Thompson's draft.

Nah...I think we all know by now we are not worthy to judge TT on anything he's done. Don't take yourself so serious. You don't know jax sheet either.

Just bustin TT's balls a little. All in good fun.

Chris sakes I aint talkin hockey, give me that.

Don't know much 'bout history...

To recap. Other than Nicks Pick 6, Jordys TD, Jennings 2 TDs, or Rodgers play. Thats two more TT LB picks that diagnosed a play and turned a SB around.

Damn shame Ted can't draft health.

So Pickett and Matthews forcing a fumble that a (uncharacteristically) late-reacting Bishop picked up made Hawk less even more late reacting how?

So Matthews and Jenkins playing well made Hawk good? Or they should play with crap ILBs because Matthews and Peppers are on the team? Walden was playing well during the run also, surprisingly, and the d-backs were on fire. And Hawk still sucked, deal with it.

i liked Bishop, but he wasn't good in space. I would have liked to see how he would have paired with Barnett or another ILB who could run. Bishop was a short-area thumper.

You don't say.

Thanks for proving my point. The guy wasn't fast and had to shoestring tackle on a dive. Bishop was a pretty sound tackler and that was not his style. He rarely dropped out of the short area because he lacked speed. He was tough in the box, outside, not so much. It would have been better had they paired him with someone who could run and cover, they could have complemented each other, but instead it was Hawk.

I don't think it is irrational to be concerned about ILB.  With Clay Matthews' injury history, I don't think he's going to like all the activity at his legs that this position warrants.  Matthews play when he is nicked up drops greatly.   I don't want him there as often as he was at the end of last year.  That said, I believe in TT and stop well short of some of the douchey criticism in this thread.

Here's the thing about ILB, we don't know wtf we have. I liked what I saw from Barrigton, but I was one of those people early in the season that didn't think Barrington was the answer and he came in and made a difference. He wasn't elite, but he was better than what we had. Who is to say he won't take the next step? I didn't think Bradford was going to make it at OLB, but who knows what he can do at ILB...he might also step in and be an improvement. Leaving rounds 1, 2, and 3 without an ILB shouldn't be considered a failure or a mistake...we might have our ILB's already on the roster. We might not have them, but passing on better players to take an ILB would have been a terrible mistake.

Because he's from Iowa? As good a readon as any.

It it will be interesting to see which jobs Hyde holds on to. You have to admit, it is almost funny how the first three picks are all guys who do what has been in Hyde's repertoire.
