So this is Ted's first draft not taking an offensive lineman.
@RobDemovsky: First time Ted Thompson hasn't drafted an offensive linemen. He's taken more there, 18, than at any other spot.

"Yikes."
Okay...
@AdamSchefter: Rams RB Zac Stacy traded to Jets for pick 224, per source.
Whiny tools in game threads deftly adapt to being whiny tools in draft threads.
Mad props.
Do you have extra penises lying around? Gross.
And we ended up with Mike Flanagan and Marco Rivera.
I think we're gonna be OK.
Why not just trade Micah Hyde for a 7th round pick?
Kiper and McShay are finally at each other's throats. **** they hate each other.
@jasonjwilde: McCarthy says rookies will come in Thursday night for orientation camp. Practice Friday morning and Saturday. #Packers
Cris Carter's emotional speech to Shane Ray prior to the draft was comedy on the highest order.
More Internet hits. Mayweather Pacquiao or Kiper McShay?
Are hair pulling and squeeling like a little girl allowed?
Encouraged
I'm liking Heeney as well, he has almost the exact measurables as Kendricks, but just played on a crappy team. Could also see the kid from Michigan, Jake Ryan as a ILB for the Pack in the 4th or 5th.
Helluva prediction there DD. Nice job.
Re-reading through this thread....lotsa comedy in here.
I still can't believe the Titans didn't make that trade. What Ian Rap was reporting is accurate. If that was the Packers in that slot, even if we didn't have a QB & TT passed on a deal like that, I'd be super pissed off. A chance at 6 starters incl, a QB + a nickle back for Marcus "Miracle Man" Mariota?
It'll be fun see how this plays out in 2-3 years
Redskins gm Scott mccloughan on Leonard Williams... 'Only trade offers received were for fowler, as soon as fowler was off the board, the calls stopped coming in...'
I think that's interesting. Most "draft pundits" had Leonard Williams rated the top player in the draft
They're pundits for a reason. They know nothing of tiers.
I thought Cooper was the best player in the draft, not Williams.
Neither one is a QB nor a pass rusher, so it's moot.
I liken him to a bigger Marvin Harrison or maybe a poor man's Jerry Rice, he's smooth and complete, doesn't have that one "it" thing that makes you go "WOW"! but will always be productive inside, outside, underneath and sneaky deep.
Good question. This was a weak draft so o surprise that the best player can't match the best from other drafts. I would put him at below the AJ Green/Jordy level, but only by a bit.
Seattle didn't exactly do a fine job of sluethin'. What could go wrong?
"Team officials had conducted an extensive investigation" = Seattle talked with Frank Clark to get his side of the story.
Well, like any good scouts they looked at the tape. The more productive he was the more innocent he became.
More & more I'm disliking Schneider along with Carroll
Ron Wolf knew Wayne Simmons was a turd, but he also felt they needed that kind of turd on the defense for his attitude. As Keim said 'If Hannibal Lecter ran a 4.3 40 we'd list him as having an eating disorder'. The question is more often which and how many of these guys do we roll the dice with.
I'm not saying I'm a fan of that line of thinking, just that it is.
TT has been far more conscientious about drafting bad eggs than Wolf was.
Ron became a made man with the 60s-70s Raiders. Just sayin.
Pin-striped jumpsuits and Platform Wing Tips?

But they admit they never talked to the witnesses.
Was looking at Brian's predictions before the draft. None of them bad choices....however...
FIVE of the 7 players he lists were available when the Packers selected & TT passed on them all. Says something....yes?
Says Ted knows a lot more than Brian.
Eh, who needs sleep tonight anyways?
He looks scarier when he is sipping on a bud light on ice.

Yep, marijuana is a gateway drug.
One day your chiilin', smoking some bud with your bro's, next thing you know you've murdered your cellmate.
wtf
I must not have been doing it right.
