Nate Davis, another expensive bust?
In YA's article it says:
"The Bears didn't execute, were outcoached, and outclassed by their rival."
And yet MLF probably won't get the COY award. I think someone needs to be paid off - just have to figure out who.
@ammo posted:I took it mean Salah should dress Rodgers down in front of the team. If a quick pass was called and Rodgers went hero instead he should explain to his team just what the hell he was doing. He was NOT playing a team game either.
Sorry for the confusion, guys.
And, of course, you're right about Rodgers. By all rights, he should have his ass ate like Ditka did to Harbaugh.
But... if I use Walmart as an analogy, Claypool is a cart pusher. Rodgers is the manager. One gets shat upon, the other one doesn't.
@Goalline posted:The last time the Bears swept the Packers? 1991. The next year the Packers applied the cheat code and traded for Brett Favre.
Hi Goalline. Actually the last 3 times the Bears swept us was 1991 then in 2005, and 2007 during the Lovie Smith years. So very rare a sweep by them in the last 30 plus years. Bears had a 23 game advantage on us head to head record after the 1991 season. Now we are up 11 games on them. Favre and Rodgers were Bear killers for sure. Next man up !
Wait.
Goalline lies?
So he’s not a Ghanian Prince either?
He's actually Nigerian.
So then he is a prince.
Would be funny if Bears cut Claypool, Gutekunst picks him up, and he balls out for the G&G.
I liked Claypool in the draft.
Now tho, I'd give Gutey some serious side-eye if he claimed DeadClaypool on waivers, even tho Glutencrunch has earned the benefit of my doubt.
Jaquan Brisker says he texted Justin Fields about the team's lack of energy: "I had to get it out there. As leaders we have to do better bringing the team up."

Says he felt like that had more energy during practice, but "it kind of wavered off" during the game. @cbschicago

I'll see what I can do.

That will happened when you are getting pounded to crap.
"The problem is, the wide receivers need a quarterback, not the quarterback needs weapons. It's the same results. Justin Fields is a tremendous athlete he's really, really good in fantasy football. We're talking about this real thing, they need to start treating him the same way y'all treat Zach Wilson."
Reality, he's not a qb and the coaching staff has no ability to help him. The whole organization from top to bottom is a disaster. I'm hoping they keep everything the same.
At some point you have to blame the ownership.
Just keep on McCaskeying the ball down the field.
antoo was on fire last night.
I’m calling for a drug test.
Chicago media starting to get sour on Fields. But now the argument is "well, he's not Poles or Eberflus's guy anyway, they inherited him from Pace and Nagy. they need to draft their own QB".
Not sure what their excuse for the OL and entire D is.
I think their scouting department probably needs an overhaul as well. And their fans. And their assistant coaches. And their secretaries. And their...
The stream I used yesterday had a chat window to one side that looked like it covered all games. I saw a comment in the first quarter where somebody posted "The bears are going to ruin Caleb Williams next year".
He will stay in school before going to a franchise that is deemed a loser.
That's the threat but I don't think there is any way he would do that. Only potential persuasion would be the $ from NIL.
One of AR's truly thoughtful parting gifts to the Packers and their fans, was making Luke Getsy look good enough to get him an OC gig in CHI.

It's looking like they will get the kid from USC. The question is, how are they going to fuck that up?

That rules out the Vikings too!
The wheels are coming off the Bears. Again. From this morning, Fields blames coaching as to why he sucks.
My jaw is on the floor right now. Just a head-spinning morning on 1920 Football Drive.

A quick recap ...
For a team on a 12-game losing skid and heading to KC to face the reigning Super Bowl champs, there are a lot of loose bolts right now. Quite possibly, all of them. Yikes.

The Alan Williams situation continues to get more mysterious with Matt Eberflus declining to give an update or clarity on any part of it, including whether Williams is still employed as the DC.

The Bears have had plays where two WRs run the same route right next to each other two weeks in a row now. That’s definitely a coaching problem.
But Fields also waits until a guy is super wide open and looking back at him before he ever attempts to throw the ball. That shit is on Justin.
This is beyond awful.....
.@ChicagoBears this is…..a….a…..frustrating to say the least. It’s never going to get any easier than this. #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/ILKUiMG0Lh
